"𝐒eriously, bro, take it easy on her. You don't want to scare her off!" Loui pleaded, standing beside Rolf.
The panoramic view of his mansion was a breathtaking spectacle, pleasing to look at. Loui had decided to visit his beloved brother, their paths having diverged for an extended period.
As they stood side by side on the sundeck, the afternoon breeze caressed their faces, a gentle caress that seemed to soothe the tension in the air.
Rachel was still at school, her arrival time typically around 4:00 to 4:30. Richard was tasked with the duty of picking her up.Rolf was merely teasing her, a playful jab at the memory of the day he had declared his intention to drive her to school. Though he certainly would, he had promised himself that he would be the one to take her there and bring her back, a subtle strategy to draw her closer, to forge a bond.
He had even reveled in the moment her cheeks had flushed beneath his gaze as he held her in his embrace.
Yet, he was a man of many responsibilities, a whirlwind of paperwork and meetings that consumed his days. The invisible world, the realm of magic and portals, demanded his attention. After chewing his gum for a few moments, Rolf responded, "I'll go easy on her, Loui. So easy that she'll revel in my embrace."
Loui pulled a comical face at him. "It was supposed to be a slow burn!"Rolf turned his gaze toward his brother, his expression unfazed. "I don’t do slow. It’s just not in my nature."
"But you have to. For her, man." Loui insisted, their gazes fixed on the expansive, stylish pool below them.
Rolf sighed, his fingers gripping the wooden handrails.
He wanted her. He needed her so much that it was becoming increasingly difficult to control himself around her.
"If only you could've seen the look in her eyes when I nearly kissed her—gosh... It drives me crazy."
"Atât de nebun." (So crazy) He added in a hushed tone."I understand you, Rolf. And trust me, I know how difficult it is to survive with blue balls." Loui snickered.
"Don’t tempt me to conjure another storm cloud above your head, with angry raindrops pelting you down," Rolf glared at his best friend. It wasn't a harsh glare, but he meant every word.
Rachel would undoubtedly be the catalyst for the increased blood flow in his testicles, but that didn't give Loui a reason to snicker.Did it?
Loui relished in teasing Rolf, and the latter, fully aware of his friend's penchant for mischief, decided to unleash a small dark cloud hovering just above Loui’s tousled, blonde hair, as he had jokingly warned.
Rolf’s abilities were unparalleled.
He possessed the power to move objects with his mind, a feat known as telekinesis. His eyes would glow an emerald color during this process, a mesmerizing spectacle. At first, controlling this gift had been challenging, leading to accidental chaos around his home. A mere glance at an unlit candle could ignite it, its flame growing dangerously large. Even the sight of glass could cause it to shatter. But now, he had mastered his ability, wielding it with precision and control.
With a joyous grin on his face, he turned to face Loui, who stared at him in horror, his mouth agape. The last time Rolf had performed this trick on him was 160 years ago, and it had been a valuable lesson.
The magical dark cloud would follow him everywhere, raining upon him, accompanied by thunder and lightning. He had intentionally placed a roach inside Rolf's pants while he was fast asleep in the middle of the night, the insect disrupting his moment of peace as it crawled across his bare genitalia.
