"Khwezi's back" Sbonelo announces as he walks into the warehouse. I send Naledi a quick text before turning my attention to him. "And?" I raise an eyebrow at him.

"He's planning something big, we have to deal with him before he can deal with us" Baba exlaims. "I'll get the men ready" Sabelo quickly says.

"Wenzani lapha wena? What'd your mother say about you coming to this place?". "Kodwa Baba, I'm seventeen, can't I make my own decisions?" He sighs.

"Discuss that with your mother" He waves him off. He turns to me "Ungabheki" I dismiss him. "Can you talk to Ma for me? Please" He adds.

"Don't try to manipulate my wife, take him home and make sure he stays there" Baba cuts off my thoughts. "I can drive" Sabelo proclaims. "Who's car will you be driving?" Sbonelo mocks.

"Can I atleast have my allowance for next week early?" Sabelo sighs. "Okay, Ngizohamba, futhi ngizotshela uMa ukuthi ningixoshile"

"Drop him off and get back here, we're going to pay Khwezi a little visit" I nod walking out with Sabelo following behind me. "You know, you don't have to drop me off at home, I could ju-" I cut him off.

"You're grounded, remember? And I don't have time to drive around with you talking my ear off... Put on your seatbelt" I turn on the ignition and drive straight home.

"If you leave me here I'll tell Ma about your little girlfriend" I raise an anticipating eyebrow at him. "Who are you trying to threaten? Me? I'm not Sbonelo, get out of my car" I get out, walking into the house with him sulking. "Uphuma kuphi Sabelo?"

"Ma-" She cuts him off. "Ngithe uphuma kuphi? Don't even think about lying to me" I sit on the couch, placing my feet on the coffee table, pulling out my phone.

"Ma, I'm grown. Do I have to explain my whereabouts all the time?" I slightly look up from my phone. "You're grown? Don't you depend on me? Do you have a house? Where do you get your allowance from? uGrown emizini kabani? Yoh, this child!" She pulls out her phone.

"You're grown?" She mumbles to herself. "Melokuhle. He says his grown..." She walks away. "I told you not to take me home" He grumbles, stomping away. I press my phone against my ear.

Me:
Themba lami, unjani?

Naledi:
I told you to stop, we can't keep on doing whatever this is.

Me:
I'm guessing you got the flowers, do you like them?

Naledi:
Samkelo, we spoke about this, I let you take me to work and you forget about me. What happened to our deal?

Me:
We didn't speak about anything. I told you I'd think about it and I'm deciding otherwise, I'm not stopping anything.

Naledi:
I'm not ready, so please. Just leave me alone, it's better that way, trust me.

Me:
I don't think so, I'll see you soon. Dream about me.

Naledi:
D-

I hang up before she can continue with her ranting. I grab my car keys and head out, driving to the location on my GPS. I grab my gun and walk to the van parked across the street.

"You're late" Sbonelo hands me an ipad. "Unlike you I have a life to live" I look down at it, it's footage of Khwezi trying to leave the premises. "Handle him, he knows we're coming" I nod, walking away from him.

I head into the premises, walking in through the unlocked back door. The guards are all running to the front door, trying to stop anyone from entering through it.

I discreetly make my way up to the second floor, opening the two double doors. I try not to laugh as I notice the old man trying to climb out the window. His face snaps in my direction.

I resist the urge to push him down the window. I wait for him to walk towards him, without giving him the chance to speak. My hand presses against the trigger, sending a bullet inbetween his eyes. His body drops to the ground with a loud thud.

Commotion is heard from the other side of the house. "Did you kill him?" Sbonelo speaks into my earpiece. "What the hell is going on down there?" I ignore his previous question.

"What are you talking about?" He asks, clearly confused. "Why the fuck are they trying to get in?! It was supposed to be a distraction, get them out of here! Now!"

"I'm on it" He sighs. I pull the earpiece out, smashing it with my shoe. I make my way out of the house and back into my car. I drive straight home, ignoring Sbonelo's calls.

I park in my driveway, and head into my house. My feet carry me up to my room, I reach to switch on the lights but stop when a sniffling sound comes in contact with my ears.

My hand rests on my gun as I switch on the lights. "Naledi?" I frown, letting go of my gun. She only bursts out, crying. "T-They killed h-him" She hiccups. Shit. I wrap my arms around her as she cries.

"I-He-T-They k-killed him... H-He's gone" She chokes out, furiously wiping her tears. "Ngiyaxolisa" I lie through my teeth, but she doesn't need to know that. I resist the urge to smile, for her sake.

She wails, soaking my shirt. I'm starting to rethink killing that bastard, clearly he meant a lot to her. She's now blankly staring at the wall as tears stream down her now red cheeks. "Naledi" I call out.

"H-He was trying to c-change, He w-wanted to change Samkelo" She mutters. Pure lies, that ass wipe was planning on kidnapping my little sister as leverage. "I'm sorry" I lie once again.

'I killed him'

Those words desperately want to leave my lips but I refrain myself. We're making progress, I'm not about to sabotage what we have.
