"Minnie... Hebana, am I talking alone?" My attention snaps back to her. "Mhm? What were you saying?" I balance the phone on my shoulder and ear. "I thought you hung up, what's going on? Are you okay?" Ona asks over the phone."Ke sharp Mosadi, bona I'll call you later. I love you neh?" I hang up, placing my phone on the table, my foot anxiously tapping against the floor. "At that rate, you're going to put a hole into my floor Themba lami" I immediately get up.
"Where are they?" I hold out my hand. He places the little brown paper bag on my hand. I open it and sigh in relief. I head into the kitchen to consume the pills before going back to him. "Are you happy now?" He mocks with a smile on his face.
"Mxm. Don't play with me like that, I almost had a heart attack" I dismiss him. "Uyaphi ugqoke kanje?" He eyes my outfit. "I'm going to buy a few things" I grab my handbag. "So vele wabulala izingane zami kanjalo nje?"
I ignore him. His hands snake around my waist. "Hhayi marn, Samkelo..." I move away from him, walking out of the house and into my car. I slowly breath in before driving to Omphile's apartment.
Me:
I'm outside.I send him the text and wait for him to buzz me. My feet carry me up to his apartment with nerves flowing throughout my body. The door's unlocked so I step in. "Omphile" I call out. "I'm in the living room"
"Hey" I anxiously walk into the living room. "Hey? o re hey?" He scoffs. "Omphile I can explain" I sigh. "Explain, ke go emetše, bullela" He urges. "I'm not giving them any information on you guys- I just..."
"Ke eng?! Minentle" He sternly says. "I'm really great friends with Sima and she's back in town so I had to visit her" I lie. "Then what the fuck were you doing in Samkelo's house?!" He gritts out.
One thing about my brother is that he has never and by never I mean ever raised his voice at me, so I know that whatever he has against Samkelo's family's huge. "She's staying with him"
"Nx. Give me one good reason why I shouldn't expose you to the family council" He chuckles to himself. "Because I'm your little sister and you love me too much to do that.... Please don't sell me out Omphile, kea go kgopela" I plead.
"You have one week to hop on that plane and go back to school, otherwise o tla ntseba botše!" He harshly says. "Omphile" I frown. "If they try anything with you, press the centre of that necklace" He point's at the object sitting on my neck.
"I'm not lea-" He cuts me off. "I wasn't asking you, you have one damn week to leave this place before everyone finds out" He clicks his tongue in annoyance.
"You're just like your father" I know that was a low blow because of the look he just shot me. "That asshole is not my father, get out of my house!" He shouts, pointing at the door. I know that he hates Tata because of the things that he's done to Mama.

"Samkelo!" I call out as I enter the house, I frown when I get no response so I put the bags on the kitchen counter before walking up to his room. He walks out of the closet, shirtless if I may add. Honestly speaking neh? My man is hot and that's a fact!
I slip off my heels before stepping closer to him. He turns to the bedside table, not even sparing me a glance. "Samkelo" I place my hand on his upper bicep. He slightly turns his head, as if telling me to let go of him.
I quickly pull my hand away. "Ke eng? Ke entseng?" I mumble, standing infront of him. "Hlala phansi wena" He shrugs past me. I sit down on the bed, looking confused as hell.
He stands infront of me, snatching the necklace Omphile gave me off of my neck. I reach for it but he drops it to the floor, crushing it with his foot. I gasp, Omphile o tlo mpolaya, modimo.
"I want you to listen to me and listen to me very carefully, Minentle" Minentle? He NEVER calls me that, it feels foreign coming from his mouth. "I didn't do it! whatever you're thinking, I did not do it Samkelo" I quickly say. "Where were you?"
"I told you that I went to buy something mos" I avert my gaze from him. "I hate liars and I'd hate it even more if I had to hurt you" He slowly says. I gulp, not saying anything to him. "Where were you?" He repeats.
I start fiddling with my fingers. "Ngikhuluma nawe marn!" I flinch, closing my eyes. "I-I told you-..." He cuts me off by grabbing my forearm and dragging me out of the room. "Samkelo! You're hurting me" I wince trying to get out of his grip.
He ignore me and continues dragging me outside, pushing me into his car, slamming the door shut. I wipe my falling tears as he gets into the other side, driving off. I clutch onto the seat for dear life as he keeps on increasing the speed.
He later parks infront of an abandoned looking building. My heart starts beating rapidly when he goes over to my side, opening the door. "Phuma" I stay glued to the seat. "I said get out" He gritts out and I close my eyes, letting that lone tear roll down my cheek.
He grabs my arm, pulling me out of the car. I scream, shuffling to get away from him. "Ntlogele!" I scratch him. He continues to drag me towards the building, I reach my hand to press the button but realise that he broke it.
More tears stream down my eyes when we somehow end up inside the building- underground it if I may add. There are guns and any other possible weapons everywhere and by everywhere I mean everyone has a weapon.
I blink away my tears as everyone nods at Samkelo or bows? He keeps on dragging me until we're at the end of the warehouse. He opens a door to an office and shoves me in there before leaving and locking the door.
I stand by the corner of the room, curling up in my own arms before letting my tears free.
