He walks past me, not even sparing me a glance. "Samkelo" I trail off. He ignores me and heads down to his office. I sigh following behind him. I watch as he sits on his chair, gulping down the bottle of whiskey. "Nx"

"I'm talking to you" I make my presence known. "Get out" He calmly says. "I-" He puts me off. "Phuma!" I scramble out of the room, heading into the kitchen. I make myself something to eat, whilst multiple thoughts cloud my brain.

The front door opens and Sbonelo walks in carrying a brown envelope. "Is he around?" He asks refering to Samkelo. "He's in his office" I says, uninterested. He nods, good down to his office..

I keep my gaze on my phone, texting back and forth with Ona. After what feels like forever, I get bored so I walk down to Samkelo's office, reaching for the door but I stop when I hear him whisper shouting at Sbonelo.

"Clearly you're failing to get to them, I'll do things my own way" He deadpans. "I just need more time and you know that Ma won't allow you to hurt anyone from that family" Sbonelo lowly says.

"I don't care about what Ma says, those bastards are stealing my shipments and killing my men" He scoffs in response. "You need to focus on your plan with Minentle while I handle them, that's your main focus at the moment"

"I've got that covered, she's not snooping around my line of work but her asshole of a brother is. Uyangicasula, futhi ngizombulala" He chuckles and I clench my teeth, angrily.

"And her cousin? Has she said anything about the underground operation?" He continues. "That one? Unomlomo omkhulu yeses, She said something about them changing the routes and connecting them with Lesotho. But she's been ignoring me ever since"

"Get her to speak, I don't care what you do but get her to speak, she seems to know more about it." He orders. "What you're doing is wrong and if she finds out she'll never forgive you" Sbonelo interjects.

"I saw the opportunity and I took it, I don't care about how she feels. I need my diamonds back and she's the only way through them, Ntando loves her too much, once I tell him about what I've been doing with his daughter, he won't even think twice before handing them over to me..." He darkly chuckles.

I feel tears blurring my vision. "Leya ngane iyakuthanda kodwa umenza lombhedo" Sbonelo laughs. "Ubani othe kumele angithande?... She's still angry at me so I'll have to sweet talk my way back into her heart, I'll have those diamonds in less than a week, Ngiyakutshela" They both share a laugh and I silently run up to his room, slamming the door shut and locking it.

I slump down onto the bed, sobbing. I pull his necklace from my neck and throw it onto the other side of the room. I sit there crying for what feels like forever. The door knob moves a few times before he says something.

"Themba lami, Ngicela uvule umnyango" If it was on any other occasion, I would gladly do so but now? Even the sound of his voice repulses me. "Naledi" He calls out. I remain silent. The door is opened a few moments later and he walks in, heading towards me.

"Couldn't you hear me calling you?" He angrily asks. I sit up, wiping my tear filled face. "Do you love me?" I look into his eyes. "Where is this coming from?" He frowns. "Nkarabe" I choke out. "Naledi-" I cut him off. "Samkelo, do you love me? Yes or no"

"Yes, W-" I cut him off once again. "You're lying! You're fucking lying! You don't love me, you're lying you fucking asshole!" I scream at him. His face remains emotionless. "Call me when you're done so we can talk like adults, I've told you countless times that I love you" He calmly says.

"I'm not crazy, I know what I heard. You're trying to gaslight me into thinking I'm crazy. You don't love me! You've been using me all this time" I wipe my tears. "Naledi-"

"Don't 'Naledi' me! I've put everything on the line for you, I fell inlove with you Samkelo and you used me to get to my father... Everyone warned me about you but I stayed, I gave myself to you, I gave you a chance even after you kept on fucking up. Ntlogele marn!" I slap his hand away from me.

"Ngicela sihlale phansi sikhulume ngalokhu Themba lami" He tries persuading me. "There's nothing to talk about! Admit it, admit that you never love me!" I move away from him.

He remains silent, I take this as his answer and head into his closet, packing all my belongings into my bags, with him trying to talk me out of it. I wipe the tears that uncontrollably roll down my cheeks.

"Naledi, Ngiyakucela sithandwa sami" He holds my arm. I scoff, pulling away from him. "I'm done with you Smakelo, stay away from me" I pull my bags and pack them into my car.

He watches from the doorway in annoyance whilst smoking a cigarette. I get into my car and drive away from his estate with tears clouding my vision. My phone keeps on ringing as I accelerate my speed.

I reach to switch it off but my hand slips, I look back up at the road and a truck is coming towards my car. I turn the steering wheel, swerving out of the road. I scream as my car comes in contact with a tree, my head bangs onto the side of the window.

The airbag pops out and I frustratedly get out, holding my bleeding forehead. I pull out my phone, calling Omphile. I sit on the side of the road, clutching onto my head. My life's a mess and I'll make sure Samkelo pays for everything he's done to me.
