(The Answer of Why The Club is
Banned Chapter, Part Six)

ROSALINDA

As soon as I entered the club, Ajax greeted me holding a bouquet of pink roses. I hadn’t planned on coming here; I just remembered I needed to check in with Mr. Ivaldez about Doyle, who’s still missing. We keep messaging, and honestly, I’m surprised Doyle’s still alive. Kidding aside, I’m really glad he is.

“Mi esposa, flowers for you. I’ve been thinking about you and missed you these past few days.” He handed me the bouquet, the sweet scent of the roses filling the air. “Where have you been?” he asked.

I accepted the flowers and replied with a faint, “Somewhere,” as I walked past Ajax toward Mr. Ivaldez.

When he sees me approaching, Mr. Ivaldez closed his book and looked up. “Do you need something?”

“About Doyle, he can’t be present today. He’s dealing with a family issue and needs to be there.” I lied. In reality, he was tracking where they had taken my father. So far, the Herald Mortiferum hasn’t moved their piece.

“Is that so? I understand. I want to ask why, but I don’t want to be nosy,” he said, scratching his head.

“He doesn’t even tell me what kind of family problem they’re fixing. He just informed me,” I added. He went back to reading while I looked at the club’s attendance list.

Harley is always absent.

The club president will surely ask about his absences.

I glanced at a letter lying on Doyle’s table. I grabbed it and opened it to read. What if this is about the club? He’s not here, so I have to handle what’s happening.

My brow furrowed. I didn’t expect Doyle to get an admiration letter—no, more likely a love letter.

To my dearest Doyle Raj Carpio,

I’ve admired you since the first day of class, when you helped me find my lost phone. You’re kind, cute, and the most handsome man in my eyes.

I’ve been secretly watching you. Did you notice? Everything you do excites me. Your passion for solving mysteries and crimes thrills me too. If you’ve wondered who’s been messaging you from an unknown account, it’s me. No one loves you more.

As I said, I’ll do anything to make you happy. Don’t leave me, especially since I found out your club has two girl members the ginger and the pretty. What did they do to you? I hope for nothing, but I’ve always seen you with that pretty girl.

Who is she? Why are you always with her?

I’ll make you mine. Be ready.

Your admirer, Maya.

After reading it, I put the letter back where I found it. The letter wasn’t just admiration; it revealed obsession, delusion, and possessiveness. She knows he doesn’t like her, but says she’ll do anything. I have a bad feeling that trouble will come if Doyle doesn’t confront her.

“Creepy, right?” Ajax commented, caught my attention. “A girl gave it to me earlier, but she didn’t write it. She said a female student sent her.”

It might be Lovely.

"Well, as long as she doesn’t cause too much trouble." Wika ko.

"I think she will..." Napalitan ang masigla niyang mukha ng pag-aalala. "After the girl earlier handed me the letter, she seemed confused about why we’re pretending to be the Literature Club. I asked how she knew, and she said she actually doesn’t know anything about it, but the woman who told her to give this letter to Doyle mentioned something about the secret of our club."
