Case 7: What's The Secret of
Wild Glamourous Show?
(The Son of David's Web Plan
Chapter, Part Four)

ROSALINDA

"Are we safe?" I asked.

"I can’t tell yet. He might just be staring at our surroundings, waiting for the right moment to attack us," Clark responded with uncertainty.

"Man, this is getting scary. No, it’s more than scary! I think I am traumatized! What the fudge is going on?!" Dmitriy shouted. "I’m feeling like we’re in a freakin’ horror movie right now. I goddamn hate it! Ayoko nang magtagal pa rito!" Napahilamos siya ng mukha, halatang-halata sa mga mata niya ang umaapaw na takot. "My friend Clark, who are those motherforkers?"

"I can’t answer that question, but I’m sure they are members of Herald Mortiferum," he replied, his gaze steady on me.

"Herald Mortiferum?" Dmitriy’s brow furrowed deeper. "What the hell is that? Is that some sort of group with a bunch of damn wolves hunting us like we’re rabbits?! Whoever they are, those forkers need to be in jail. Call the freaking police, man! Son of a gun! I don’t wanna be here anymore!"

"I already called them, don’t worry," Clark said calmly.

"What do ya mean, don’t worry? How can ya say that in this darn situation, huh?!" Dmitriy was freaking out.

Herald Mortiferum—they are slowly revealing themselves to us, and it might be part of their plan. A goal that I cannot yet comprehend. Committing crimes is all they want; they want to expand the long list of lives they’ve ended, but for what? For some unknown reason. Whatever it is, they belong in jail. No question about it.

"Umalis na tayo dito, bago pa tayo mahanap," ani Clark. Agad niyang hinawakan ang kanang kamay ko, habang ang isa niyang kamay ay nakahawak naman sa kaliwang kamay ni Dmitriy. "Whatever happens to both of you, I don’t think I can forgive myself. I’ll take responsibility," he said sincerely. I can see in his eyes that he is someone to trust. "Let’s leave this place and go somewhere safer."

Kung iisipin mo, ako talaga ang nagdala sa kanila ng kapahamakan. It’s my fault that we fell into this situation. I shouldn’t have read the diary. I’m very sorry, Clark, Dmitriy. I should be the one protecting them because I brought them into this, but instead, I’m the one being protected. I feel so weak. I hate it.

Salamat sa Panginoon, ligtas naman kaming tatlo. According to Clark, the police already investigated the place. They tried to find and capture that serial killer, but they found no one—only dead people inside their houses. Until now, I still can’t find an answer to how they died so quietly, but I guess we have to wait for forensics to see if they find something that could possibly connect to the victims' deaths.

Buong akala ko’y tuluyang papatayin na kami ng lalaking ‘yon, but he obviously ran away before the police could catch him.

We got news from Clark’s father; I didn’t know his father is an inspector. He said that the location wasn’t accurate because, when they arrived, there were no buildings or people around. Because of that, Dmitriy was disappointed and wanted to locate that website again. However, he left his laptop at Clark’s house.

"Why wasn’t it accurate?!" Dmitriy said angrily. "Palagi namang tama ‘yung paghahanap ko ng mga lokasyon ng websites noon, ah!" he said with a frown, pacing around.
