"YOUR brother joined the Herald Mortiferum to learn how to invent drugs from Satan, just to do his plan on kidnapping Rosalinda? That's a very weak reasoning, Ajae." Raleigh said bluntly. But he was right it's a weak reasoning.

"Have you noticed?" Napahalukipkip si Ajae. "If he is going to do any himself, he will most likely be caught easily by the police. But, if he is going to join that organization he will be protected. You know how difficult it is to caught them." Napatingin ako kay Ajax na nakahilata parin sa sahig.

"The police are coming, I didn't see any members from Herald Mortiferum coming to save them." Sabi ko at napangisi naman si Raleigh.

"Ibig sabihin niyan ay wala silang pakialam sa kaniya," aniya at siya'y napasandal sa pader. "If they really do care about him then it should be someone who is going to save them. As for what Satan happened, nakulong siya hindi ba?"

Napabuntong-hininga si Ajae." Hindi kayo nanood o nakinig sa bakita kaninang umaga..." Napakunot ang noo naming dalawa ni Raleigh. But because, I was confused about who's Satan. While he was frowning because of confusion about what is the bad information from the news early in the morning. "The Sentinel Detention Facility reported earlier at the news na nakatakas si Satan," nanlaki ang mga mata ni Raleigh. "The cell where Satan was imprisoned alone, subalit ang tanging makikita na lang sa loob ay isang sulat. And the letter was from Lilith."

Natahimik si Raleigh ay napadako ang mga mata niya kay Ajax. "Don't tell me they let him be imprisoned now and then help him escape from which prison he will be imprisoned?"

"That most likely will happen," Ajae went on. "It's either Lilith or the other upper higher rank member will help him escape from there."

"Pero, nakakasiguro naman ako na magdo-doble ang kanilang systematic na pagbabantay para siguraduhing hindi makakatakas si Ajax mula sa kulungan. Matapos makatakas ni Satan, magiging mas matalino at maingat sila sa pagbabantay kay Ajax." I shared my theory.

"We're not sure about that..." Ajae looked at me. "We don't know what they're thinking. Herald Mortiferum isn't your typical organization that the police deal with. Thirty years have passed and they're still ahead of their game. Many people have died, wealth has been stolen, and the burden lies heavily on the shoulders of many powerful individuals and the police department." I bowed my head slightly. Thirty years?

"Ang tagal naman ng mga police, kanina pa tayo naghihintay rito ah." Reklamong wika ni Raleigh habang siya'y napapakamot ng batok. "Kailan pa ba sila dadating, new year?"

"Did your parents know about this?" I asked Ajae.

"No, I didn't tell them. If I do, my plan will ruin."

Napabuga na lamang ako ng hangin. Nang napansin kong wala akong hinahawakan ay automatikong nanlaki ang mga mata ko't napatingin sa nakabukas na pinto.

'Yung diary!

Mabilis akong tumakbo papunta doon, nahanap ko naman agad ang diary ngunit ipinagtaka ko ay nakalagay ang diary sa may dulo ng hulihang bahagi ng mga desk na naririto. If I can remember clearly, inilagay ko lang 'yon doon sa may pintuan kung saan may malapit na desk.

Hindi ko 'to nilagay rito ah.

"A bit late to realize, hm?" A woman with a sweet voice said na aking ikinaalarma. Marahan akong napalingon sa kinaroroonan niya. She was at the back of the door, hiding. She shut the door but the other hand remained hiding at her back. What is she holding? Is it a knife? Gun? What? Even though I don't know what this woman's reason is why is she here but she is definitely not looking like came here to do innocent things. "Let me introduce myself to you, because Belphegor's doing you now can't remember me. How shameful, we've been met a lot of times, now you can't remember them all." Innocente nitong ngumiti sa'kin habang naglalakad na may kakisigan sa bawat hakbang. "I'm Lilith."
