Weird Abduction
One thing about being a detective is that DJ likes to keep secrecy intact in his work. Whatever may be the circumstances, the boy retains himself from sharing what he doesn't want to. He isn't the one to initiate any conversation unless he is asked and he certainly didn't appreciate people prying in his work.
For his newest task, DJ wanted to follow his already established and well-used approach to working. The boy had talked and met various connections he had made successfully in his unstable career but found nothing out of the ordinary, at first.
Until it all started to change.
Several nights later that he had spent in his small office, shuffling through papers and drawing links from one sheet to another, different revelations that DJ hadn't considered before started to erupt again making some facts clearer than before.
He worked with a new sight and surprisingly some unusual aspect started to unfold regarding acts of Doukas's committed in their past. The detective kept most of it with himself, well aware of the consequences he might have to bear if anything gets out.
It happens when you work with someone so elite that you get insights into unspoken facts that one can't speak outside the sphere.
There were several other things that could possibly lead to where Yael was kept abducted. Absurdly enough, everyone DJ met had something new to say about the crime yet no one knew where the captors took their lord.
The first thing that made DJ frown was the fact that Yael Doukas was kidnapped right from his office, on a bright burning day and without a fight from the building where he used to operate his daily work from.
It was one fine day that Yael Doukas went to his office room and started with his daily schedule. The daunting man was busy in several meetings with strange people until noon.
The secretary outside his office entered his room and placed a mug of dark, black coffee in front of him before leaving the man alone.
The ceramic matt green mug didn't look weird with a steaming hot coffee swirling inside it. it didn't taste different too when Yael took sip after sip of that hot beverage so he could relax and focus more attentively.
But that single mug of normal coffee proved to be the beginning of some cooked-up conspiracy.
Yael felt lightheaded as soon as he placed the still-hot mug on the glass table. He touched his head, holding it with both hands as he swept his gaze around the room.
Something was wrong
The man quickly opened the last drawer of his table to get a hold of his shining golden gun only to halt when a loud bang he heard at his room door and a couple of people piled in unannounced with weapons of their own
Yael wanted to shout, he wanted to fight and he wanted to kill.
But all his limbs betrayed him and he felt limp on his chair with the last view of those people getting ready to escort him out against his will.
The office was quiet with no one uttering a single word as their lord was getting dragged, drugged and unconscious of his surroundings, towards a huge jeep in dark blue colour parked outside of the building.
The guards at the door watched people shifting Yael into the back seat with utmost difficulty because of the size of that man before they all got in. The large vehicle roared to life, speeding away and leaving the guards in its dust.
