Standing outside the back entrance of the eerie club, DJ tapped his thick boot against the concrete floor impatiently, waiting for his friend to arrive and meet him at their agreed time. There was no trace of Tom whatsoever, though, even after a long wait of twenty minutes and fifty-three seconds... the detective stood alone while watching drunk and sick people exiting and entering the club occasionally.

Unfortunately for him, the boy had left his phone at home in his haste to reach on time and save his ass from sassy criticism Tom might impose. No device meant no phone call; therefore, the last option to get the whereabouts of Tom Blue was trashed right there in the back alley, leaving Jerry a huffing mess.

Time ticked by, and minutes turned into an hour, it was when DJ's patience blew to its limit, and he cursed his friend in all possible profanities. After that, he breathed in breaths of composure and braced himself for some social time as he opened the door of the club to look for Tom inside....giving way to the blast of disgusting alcohol fumes and loud chattering that engulfed the whole place as one.

Just a few steps being inside a rowdy place like that, the weight of his decision and the intrigued eyes of the beholders became a bother. People watched him interested, eyed him and his tiny frame curiously as he walked past the drunkards and towards the area Tom would probably be working. And although DJ had his face covered with a mask, still the impact of those mesmerising doe eyes, that seek comfort and a certain someone, gathered attention more than needed.

Nevertheless, DJ weaved his way cautiously and soon reached the corner where the staff crowded.

"T-Tom?" he mustered up a stutter, roaming his eyes among the bouncers and the servers merged together, but there wasn't any sign of the older. DJ was confident that nearly all of them had heard the boy, not only that, he was even seen clearly, but he got ignored just like every time he visited with Tom. That ignorant response was enough signal to leave the place and not indulge more, but the boy needed to know if Tom would be coming or was he had been stood up for no reason.

One of the man, a chunky bouncer, from the back noticed DJ and almost instantly felt his heart racing without consent. He slithered forward, a grin on his face, as he made his way to the front and in front of the detective like a charming prince.

Hands in pockets, a smile and all.

And DJ felt awkward like hell.

"Well, hello pretty baby......looking for someone? I can help if you like?" he approached smugly, showing off his pearly whites and sculpted brows like a hero in an audition. DJ felt his cheeks heating up under the attention, he paced back a little and cleared his throat before he nodded his head.

"T-Tom?" he asked, travelling his eyes back to the crowd of those beafy men now staring at the duo, interested.

"OH?..." the man responded, acting like he was surprised for some reason "Tom?....hmm, he is not here since this afternoon." He informed, taking in the knitted brows of DJ and his dark, innocent eyes, wanting to ask more. Then all of a sudden, an amused chuckle spilt through his lips and the man ruffled his hair excitedly. He refocused on the boy and closed the distance, making DJ all alarmed and conscious.

"Man....I have never seen anyone like you before. Who are you?" the bouncer started with a wide grin. He bit his lower lip and marvelled at DJ from head to toe "Even though I haven't seen your face....but damn it!.....look at you. Oh god!!" he cursed under his breath while he proceeded to step closer.

"Maybe we should go out together some time?" he proposed out of nowhere "What do you think?" the man asked, reaching out to grasp at the younger's hand. DJ's breath hitched at the other's boldness, and he tried to step back, but before anything happened, another large man slid between them and pushed DJ behind him subtly.
