"That kid got some nerve pulling shit like this....." A roaring Horace entered the quiet meeting room as he announced his dismay openly and caught the attention of the people inside the room "And I am very displeased to inform you how disrespectfully he is treating a status like mine", he continued angrily. Slamming a file on the long wooden table, he crossed his arms over his chest and scowled like an animal, glaring at the old sire seated at the far end of the same table in the meeting room.

And the sire....well, he stared back nonchalantly since it wasn't Horace's first time yelling like this to an important meeting.

The meeting was arranged to discuss a few urgent matters regarding mafia, some future planning to undertake things unfavourable for the lord of Pyro and then working on those proposals until everyone involved benefited from it equally. However, the moment Horace's presence filled the room, the agendas of the day seemed difficult to approach and the meeting lost its purpose because of his wailing.

The old boss appeared serene nevertheless, as if nothing worried him at all but the weather of his mind was racing, similar to the weather outside... untamed and whirring....that eventually would result in restlessness and cause lack of peace. He sat there smoking while the rain hammered behind him like a rhythmic song, the glass window displayed a show of dancing drops and the wild wind thrashed everything in its wake.

The man didn't want to answer Horace, nor did he want to question his complains, but the position he held as the boss of them all, the sire had not many options.

"What happened now, Horace?" Sire asked, trying not to roll his eyes, as he gulped a large shot of wine from his flute. The look on his face showed how indifferent he was to the problem of his close member, uninterested to the point of obviousness, and perhaps that was the fact that pushed Horace a little more.

"So much has happened and so much is happening which I think you don't give a shit about..." Horace burst out madly, voice raising towards disrespect and chest heaving with frustration "That lord is set on ruining what we have built together and there is no one stopping him, instead, everyone is keen to help that bloody man, even Doukas's!" he complained, making a show of what his problem was and at the same time avoiding the main issue only to get on the nerves of the old boss.

"Can you tell me what actually happened?" the older threw an irritated look Horace's way.

"That boy of Nova came to the docks while my people were gathering in the order..." Horace started with a huff and the Sire listened attentively "He was pushing and threatening my people, treating them like absolute garbage under the order of Lord Yael and I couldn't do anything", he explained and watched how the old Sire perked now that the Doukas's were mentioned.

"My consignment is delayed, Sire, and I am asked to wait until I follow their demands......that worthless contract they have been shoving in my face", Horace said and the older averted his gaze outside, mind raging into something he could only describe as insubordination, while he listened to the exhausting cries of his trustworthy alliance.

"All I ask is why? ... why is he interfering in the matter he shouldn't? Why is he doing this?" Horace asked as he slumped on the chair with a sigh, "In the reign of Lord Ezekiel, I was never asked to justify my purchases, never was sent a credit list and was never accused of being a thief. I have worked for Pyro long before Yael... and he is behaving like a brat to his elders." The man scowled displeased, and stared at the old man, expecting an answer.

An answer he wanted in his favour.

Alas!....Bad luck.

"Maybe that's why he is disrespectful towards you...." The older man shifted a little "He is tired of you taking benefits outside your contract which makes your promises in the agreement as good as a dead fish", the man pointed, emphasising bad deeds with a short smile and Horace felt his ears burning. He huffed arrogantly, nose flaring and eyes blazing, and he stood up abruptly from his seat, sending his chair to the ground.
