We're currently riding back to our house, after receiving a stressed call from Ekram khti. Her husband got into a little accident and thus she has to rush to the hospital.

She has assured us that it is nothing serious, as he was wearing his seatbelt and dodged the drunk driver in time. But still he has suffered a few external injuries.

As she can't take Farah and Fahad to such an environment, she is first dropping Fahad at our house and Aaliyah will go and pick up Farah from her afternoon classes.

We reach the street where we have to split and I give Aaliyah a reassuring side-hug, as she is quite distressed. "Don't worry, habibti, he'll be fine InshaAllah." I tell her and she nods, before mounting her bike and waving at me.

I also mount on mine and make my way towards our house which is a few streets down. I reach in a matter of a few minutes and find Ekram khti already at the door with Fahad in his seat and a bag with his essentials.

"Finally! I'm so glad I can entrust you with the two! I will try to come back as soon as possible and I'm sorry for disturbing your start of the weekend with babysitting." She says in one breath. I smile at her reassuringly.

"Waalaikum asalam and no you're not ruining the day. We're glad we can take care of the two. By the way, any updates on your husband?" Actually, I had taken off these few days with so much difficulty for the wedding functions and an extra day to spend with Aaliyah, but it's not like we alredy spent the most of it.

"No new updates." She responds and her voice is laced with worry and sadness. "InshaAllah, he'll be fine!" I tell her before she sprints to her car and soon she is out of sight.

"Well, you little Fahad, we'll have plenty of time to play and get to know each other!" I excitedly told the baby who was silently lying in his car seat. I took him, of course inside the baby seat, and the bag of essentials and headed inside.

I headed towards the couches and put the bag on the side while I made sure to stabilise the car seat on the sofa. "It must be pretty uncomfortable in there, isn't it?" I asked and naturally I got no response from the bay who looked at me and his lips turned down, indicating he's unhappy. Well, it might also mean that he's on the verge of crying because that's the thing he does next.

"Oh no, you little boy! Who got you upset?" I cooe, as I take off his belt and him out of the seat. He is so light! Oh my Allah! He's so tiny!

I make sure to not hurt him and sit down on the sofa with him in my arms. "You wanted to get out of that seat, hmm? Yea, I understand, that seat must be quite uncomfortable." He now stopped crying and was just looking at me with an unreadable face.

I just try to think back to the time where Narjis and Yasmin were Babies and what I've done to make them feel better. How fast the time flies by.

Oh! Food! I reach over to the bag and open it, searching for a baby bottle or any kind of baby food. I take hold of a baby bottle shaped thing sand pull it out. Luckily it is indeed the baby bottle.
