"Wait, wasn't this actually PLAYING at the end of the dance?" Jaune asked. That's not a night he was gonna forget. It was...nice.

"I dunno, I wasn't there." Ruby replied. "I was trying to stop Cinder...and it didn't work."

"You still did well, Ms. Rose." Ozpin spoke up. "We likely would have never known she was there if not for you."

"Yeah, I guess." Ruby muttered.

"You have THIS song on your Scroll?" Yang asked Nora.

"I told you, I have a sophisticated taste in music!" the energetic girl defended.

"She does." Ren confirmed.

"Good dance song, though." Blake mentioned.

"Sets the mood rather well." Weiss agreed.

"It's definitely welcome after the last one." Pyrrha agreed. And she remembered when the song started playing. That was...when she took Jaune's hand and...no, no, not now.

"C'mon, Pyrrha..." Nora muttered under her breath to which Ren nodded sagely.

"Wait, is THIS part of the song here?" Jaune asked Nora, who only nodded. Huh. Well, he knew that she and Ren were orphans, so...

And THAT many of them could certainly relate to. Not just Weiss & Blake, whose partners snuggled up to them a bit due to having the context...but Pyrrha as well. She told Jaune about this and...well, it seemed ridiculous to complain when Weiss, Blake, most likely Nora & Ren, and even Ruby & Yang, seemed to have it worse, so...

"That's what happens when you stare at the sun for too long, people." Yang chided while looking at Ruby, who refused to meet her gaze.

"Hey, I only did that one time and oh you're taking to Ruby." Nora shouted out before petering out. Ren then started to look at her, remembering the incident too.

"Took me a while to figure out why." Blake muttered. If this was about the Dance, then her...state of mind before it was likely part of the show. Good character drama, she guessed, but it meant that "out of universe" this may apply to her too. And GODS were those feelings confusing...
