MEETING

Weeks on end had passed and every single day had felt the same.

Cass had attended the quidditch match Slytherin against Gryffindor and cheered on it even though she didn't understand much. In all honesty, she was just there to see Fred play.

Dumbledore's Army had met a few times until Umbridge had gotten wind something was happening behind her back.

So she had talked to everyone about their activities outside of class. It was crazy.

The woman even made an inquisitors squad. Things were getting out of hand quickly.

And the students that weren't part of it, felt like they were in prison. They were held back from doing what they wanted.

Cass couldn't even send letters to Sirius and Remus anymore because the ministry started intercepting them.

It didn't feel like Hogwarts anymore.

Jasper and Cass picked up smoking more again as some sort of relief and balance.

Though Cass never really stopped.

And today had been the last meeting before the Christmas holidays. The last meeting before Alice would get to see her girlfriend again and Jasper would meet Lee's parents officially for the first time. He'd stay with them over Christmas and he had never been more excited for anything.

Cass hadn't decided yet whether to stay or drive back home as well, though she was pretty sure she'd also go back home.

"So, that's it for this lesson. We're not gonna be meeting until after the holidays so just keep practicing on your own as best as you can and...well done everyone, great work!" Harry said with a smile on his face and the room started applauding as soon as he finished talking.

Then everyone started gathering their belongings, getting ready to go.

"Cassie, is it okay if we go? We gotta pack, you know." Alice said loudly through half the room.

"Obviously!" Cass chuckled back.

Cass congratulated Harry on teaching so well so many times before feeling herself get caught up in the picture of the order, which hung on a mirror in the big room while the room slowly cleared out.

She recognized many familiar faces and also found unfamiliar ones, that she soon made out to be Harry's parents. She smiled fondly to herself.
