The trio had so much to tell each other after the Christmas Holidays were over and they had successfully gotten into the new year.
Alice and Julie were officially a couple after Alice plucked up the courage and asked the other girl. Jasper had met Lee's parents and he immediately said that 'they had loved him more than his own father', which his two best friends had to believe him quickly. And Cass had told them about the Christmas Fiasko at Grimmauld place.
But that wasn't the only thing that had happened.

And once again it had everyone on edge.
Voldemort was coming closer and everyone could feel it. Well apart from Fudge, either he was stupid or delusional...or just pretty much both.
"Make it a powerful memory. The happiest you can remember, allow it to fill you up. Keep trying Seamus!" Harry explained as he walked through the groups of students.
The point for the meeting today was trying to produce a corporal patronus.
Cass had managed to produce hers in the matter of minutes so she did her best to help others. First Jasper and Alice, then the Patil sisters and then Fred and George.
After George managed to shoot a Magpie out of his wand, Cass went on to his brother, her boyfriend.
She still wasn't used to saying that.
"You remember how you did it in fifth year?" She asked Fred, as they had already done a patronus in their tutoring sessions, "It wasn't that hard for you."
"I think so yeah." He nodded.
He closed his eyes, took a deep breath and spoke the incantation, "Expecto Patronum."
A magpie flew out of his wand and around the room.
Cass and the twins were slightly amused that they both had the same patronus, though she wasn't particularly shocked.
Fred fell into an embrace with Cass as he laughed happily about his success.
Neither of them knew but both of them had changed their memory to last Christmas, when they both had confessed their love.
