27|I'll make sure they never find out

"Minnie... What the fuck is he doing here?" Ona walks in with a scowl plastered on her face. "O sale mmo?" I get up from my bed. "What do you mean? You let him in?" she starts to rant.

"He broke in and dragged me to some hospital to check if I was pregnant or not." I wave her off. "Well I want him out of here, I don't feel safe" she pouts. "Okay, I'll go tell him to leave"

I walk out of the room and into the living room, his legs are placed on the coffee table while he's scrolling through the tv channels. "Why are you still here?" I fold my arms over my chest.

"Do you want me to leave?" Is that even a question. "Gladly so, leave and don't ever come back" I click my tongue. "I'll leave" He nods to himself whilst standing up. "Thank you"

I walk towards the door, opening it. He walks towards me and I motion for him to leave. He licks his lower lip. "Tsamaya m-" He cuts me off by placing his lips on mine. I stay frozen before kissing him back. His hand trails to my ass, squeezing it a bit before I entirely pull away.

"Ngiyakuthanda yezwa?" He puts his forehead against mine. "Ngikhuluma nawe" He says when I don't respond. "I heard you" I breathlessly whisper. He pecks my lips twice before leaving. I lock the door and turn around only to scream. "Ona marn"

"It's nice neh? Wait until he kills you" She laughs as she walks away. I sigh, heading into my room and watching Showmax on my phone. My phone vibrates and two messages pop up.

Samkelo:
I'll respect your decision and stay away from you.

My heart shakes a bit after reading that message. I bite my lower lip and open the second message.

U/N:
Hey, It's Rea. I was wondering if we could meet and talk.

Me:
Hi, uhm sure... Where and when?

U/N:
Tommorow at my office, how does 4pm sound?

Me:
Perfect... Does Samkelo have to be there?

U/N:
Absolutely not, this is something I'm sure you wouldn't want to share with him.

I put my phone down with a questioning look on my face. What is it that she wants to urgently talk about? I walk into my room and anxiously sit on the bed. I try to get my thoughts off of it by studying but end up falling asleep on top of my study table.

"And the, wena? O ya kae?" Ona asks as I put on my shoes and grab my handbag. "I'm going to meet Rea" I announce. "Rea? Who's that?" She frowns. "I met her yesterday" I say.

"O-kay, get me something to eat on your way back. I'm starving" She slumps down on the couch. I nod and grab my car keys before heading out to my car. I drive to the hospital and park on the visitors parking.

I collect my things and head up to her office since I know where it is. I knock twice before entering. "Minentle, Hi. It's nice to see you again" She's not wearing her coat or working behind her desk today, wierd.

"It's nice to see you again Rea" She motions for me to seat on the couch while she pulls out a file from behind her desk. I impatiently wait for her to start speaking. "Do you possibly know where Samkelo is?" She asks ot of the blue.

"Uhm, not really... He left last night" I scrunch up my face in confusion. "Good... Here" She hands me the file. "What's this?" I open the first page and realise that it's my file. "Your results from yesterday"

"My results? I thought you said I wasn't pregnant" I look up at her. "I saw how frightened you looked around Samkelo and I thought that maybe I could show you those while it's just the two of us. I know how can get and I'm sure he planned all of this"

I quickly open the file going through it. My throat immediately goes dry. "Y-You must be mistaken... I'm not pregnant" I stutter. "I'm not, those are your results... Congratulations" She softly says. "No... No" I push the file away.

"I may have to perform a few tests on you to check why your pregnancy tests came out negative and if the babies are oka-" I cut her off. "I don't don't know what you and Samkelo are planning but keep me out of it. I am not pregnant. I want nothing to do with him" I get up, heading for the door.

"Wait! I won't tell him. He doesn't know, he thinks you're not pregnant. I'll help you Minentle but only if you're willing to let me help you" I slowly step back into the room. "What's in it for you? Cause I know that you wouldn't betray Samkelo, he'll kill you the second he finds out"

"I'm just trying to save you from that family's scandals, if he finds out he'll drag you into it. Your life will be in danger, including those babies your carrying. I don't want another innocent life to suffer at the hands of Samkelo. He won't hurt me, our parents are best friends"

"How do I know that you're not lying to me? You could be trying to push me back into his arms" I scoff. "I wouldn't have lied to him abot the true results if I didn't want to help you. I don't want anything in return, I just want to help you"

This is the biggest lie I've heard in all my nineteen years of living. "I want to take another test and I want to see the results myself" I add. "Okay, but if they do come out positive, you'll have to let me help you. I'm the only person that can help you without ending up dead"

I take the test and now I'm just waiting in her office while my feet anxiously tap against the floor. "They're ready" She announces and I get up, taking the paper from her.

I close my eyes, heavily breathing. I'm nineteen, I don't have a stable source of income, I'm still in school, I have a crazy man bothering me 25/8, I stay in a two room apartment and I'm one month pregnant... with triplets.

"I don't want anyone to know about this, just you and me" That's a lie, I'm probably going to tell Ona when I get home. "I won't tell anyone... Not even Samkelo, but you need to understand that your carrying Zungu cargo. They're going to find out one way or another"
