Bonnie had expected him to deny it. That she was crazy. But he didn't. He confirmed it that he is the wolf in her vision.
It's pretty insane if one looks at it. A witch and a werewolf/lycan hybrid in the same room.
Kaeden makes himself and Bonnie some coffee and he begins to explain what he really is, for she was half right. "What I'm about to tell you, must stay between us. No one can know. Not Elena, not Stefan, Caroline, Jeremy, Tyler, Vicki and even Matt. Not even that brother of Elena's boyfriend. Promise me that what I tell you stays in this house."
Bonnie needed to know what he wants to tell her. So if she wants to know, she has to agree. "I promise, okay? I won't say a word to them."
Kaeden sighs in relief and takes a sip of his coffee before explaining what he knows. "First off, I'm a hybrid. Part werewolf, part lycan. My dad is a lycan. Coming from a long line of em. And my mom is a werewolf. Coming from a line of em too."
Bonnie was slightly confused and Kaeden can see that and can understand the confusion. "Aren't they the same thing?"
"Not really. Although the two species are connected to the moon and have lupine features, there are other differences between them. But I'll show you soon. So really, lycans and werewolves have different origins. The one about Lycaon is somewhat true. Here, come with me." Kaeden leads her to basement. Most of the things they have are old stuff. But then there's a small treasure chest with a Celtic symbol called the Triquetra.

As Kaeden opens the box, he takes out a book. And he opens it and it shows pictures of lycans. Older pictures of them since ancient times. "Lycans have existed in 2,100 BC. Lycaon had over 50 sons. Though I'm sure the dude was sleeping around. Either way, story goes that Lycaon was a king of Arcadia, son of Pelasgus, who is believed to be one of the first mortals to walk on Earth, and Meliboea. He is regarded as the first lycan in existence and thus the king of and strongest of them all. However, he died and one of his sons overthrew him and they spread their gifts to those they deemed worthy." Kaeden turns a page. And shows Bonnie pictures of lycans killing some humans and other animals and even some of their own kind. "Now the reason this picture is showing a lycan killing another is because one of them challenged their alpha to a fight. Winner becomes the alpha, the loser dies."
