Connor and Emily were in a secret hideout where no one can find them. A cottage of Connor's own making when he spent time in Virginia.
Last night they shared a passionate moment under the moonlight. They've been seeing each other for some time and to say they had a thing going on is an understatement.
Emily thought she was in love with Jonathan Gilbert. But Connor Chadwick is something else. He was kind, loving, sweet, bold... definitely any women's dream come true.
Mentally and physically.
Emily and Connor meet several times and the attraction is over the top. But the latter loves her deeply. And even Emily can sense how worried he is. For her. "Come with me, Emily. Far north. Away from here. Bring your family if you must."
"And what will we do there?" Emily wondered.
"Start over. A new life. With me." Connor lived in Boston, and the idea of living there free from prosecution is a dream she would take. But there's still work to be done.
"I can't. Not yet at least." Emily said, causing Connor to sigh.
"Be quick the . One more run, and I have to head back home as the pack leader." He reminded her. "I hope you're not doing this for "her."" Connor was referring to Katherine.
"I am not. I assure you." Emily puts him at ease. "And you hurry back. I will be waiting." She kissed him, gets up and then gets dressed.
Connor sighs once more. "I don't know what Katherine is up too, but it's best that you sever all ties to her. She cannot be trusted. Once I've smuggled this family up North, I hope to find you. You and I will be married and we can have family of our own."
"I'd liked that." Emily said with a smile.
Unknown to her, this will be the last time she will see him.

Kaeden was running in the woods in wolf form. All because while getting gas for his truck, he overheard an off duty deputy heard on the radio that some of these kids who were using where killed. Bodies may have been burnt, but it gave him a reason to investigate. Because this is either another or by some small chance, it's Damon. Either way, he's gonna find out.
He ends up near the cemetery, but he stays out of sight because Liz is there. But he listens carefully as The Sheriff Forbes talks to Logan, who just arrived and starts talking to her. There are charred bodies on the ground. Kaeden can smell it. He hates the smell of burned bodies.
