While Mason was getting himself ready for today, Kaeden showed up at the mansion, followed by Tyler. "He has something to tell you. He knows what really went down at the Emerald Coast."
Mason frowns for a moment and before he can even ask, Kaeden, instead of telling him, he showed him by inserting his claws into the gape of Mason's neck and he transferred the memories of Katherine to Mason, and the brother of Richard Lockwood witnessed his so called girlfriend compelling Jimmy to fight Mason, to get him to trigger his curse. The rest of the memory went accordingly with what Mason always knows.
Kaeden took out his claws and Mason was shaking his head disbelief. "No, can't be. She..."
"She what? Loves you? She doesn't love you, Mason. She's been playing yo ass from the very beginning. She knew about your family being werewolves. She made you trigger your curse. She made you kill your best friend. If she really loved you, she wouldn't have done that." Mason is still having a hard time accepting this. "Mason, think! Vampires can compel people to do whatever they want. You don't think it was a coincidence that she suddenly showed up after Jimmy died? Not only that, Mason, but you shouldn't trust vampires like her. They always have an ulterior motive. And it ain't always good. She doesn't love you, Mason. "Hey, I can you use all three of your helps in setting up for the Mystic Falls Historical Society Volunteer."

It's the Mystic Falls Historical Society Volunteer Day. Preparations are underway. Carol Lockwood is giving a speech.
