Kaeden heads to school with Tyler, both attended Vicki's funeral. Kamila helped the Donavans out by paying for a funeral. And a tombstone.
'Damn, Vicki. Buried in the woods.' Kaeden heard from his mom that it was a drug overdose. At least thats what she wrote in her report. In truth, Vicki was a vampire and when said vampires die, they turn grey. The official cause of death was a stab to the heart.
Kaeden got pissed. Not only Vicki was a vampire because of Damon. She was one because of him. He should've killed Damon when he had the chance. The moment he turned Vicki, was the moment Kaeden should have ripped him apart. But he didn't.
Outside, Jeremy is sitting on a couch, listening to music. Kaeden and Tyler arrived and sit down next to him. Kaeden figured Jeremy most be shaken after learning what happened to Vicki. Or hearing of her death. So be offers him a joint.
Jeremy sees this and declines. "Nah."
"Alright, man." Kaeden puts it back. "You and I may not be friends. But I don't hate you. I don't particularly like you though, but... you doing okay?" He asked.
"I will. Just not now." Jeremy replied.
"They say she OD'd." Tyler heard, but Kaeden knows better.
"That's what I don't get, she was doing okay." Jeremy thought as much.
"Apparently not." Tyler knows damn well Vicki wasn't getting any better. Believe this, Kaeden had tried. To get Vicki clean and all.
Jeremy is still confused though. "How did she end up buried in the woods? That's what I don't understand."
Kaeden knows. He has a good idea what happened to her or how she ended up there in the woods. "It was no animal attack. I spoke to my mom. But whether she OD'd is anyone's guess."
"Yeah but you leave her, you don't take the time to bury her."
"You're saying someone killed her? If so, then who? And why?" Kaeden asked, but he has an idea who. Likely Stefan. Because he's one of the good ones. It wouldn't have been Damon, because he's just fucked up.
Tyler wondered too. "Maybe she saw something and...Hell man, I don't know."
'Just be glad you don't know, man.'
