Kaeden was in therapy, because he did wolf out and he feels he needs to talk to someone, other than his mom, his friends, etc.
And now he's talking to Avery Jackson. A witch who's skilled in the arts of illusion spells. He's known Kaeden's dad since childhood. And he was the one who helped Kaeden get over the trauma he went through. Like killing that deputy. He also skilled in calming down even the tense emotions that Kaeden can exhibit.
He sits there comfortably on his armchair. "It's been almost months and now you're here. What happened?"
"Aside from the fact that my girlfriend lied that she turned off the devise and the deafening sound made me go feral... well I killed the rest of the vampires. Save Damon, which sucks, because last night, he compelled a dude to fight me and Tyler..."
"The untriggered werewolf who happens to have an uncle, who's a triggered werewolf." Avery finished for him. "Your mom and I talk. Mind you we're not having an affair."
Kaeden snickered. "I know. Or I would have smelled you."
"Well I know a few things about vampires. Ones like Damon. They're reckless, impulsive, but for Damon, combined on how insecure he is with Katherine, he can be quite dangerous."
"Remind me to kill him then." Kaeden knew killing Damon would also mean he'd have to kill Stefan. And while the younger brother is... somewhat good for a vampire, it's very likely he would try and protect his brother or die trying.
"How are you feeling right now?" Avery asked, wanting a mental read on Kaeden.
"Okay I guess. I mean I'm still a little mad Bonnie, but we haven't broke up nor do I hate her. I just wish I'd known she was gonna do that."
"We all spend our time wondering what if we did this or had we done this... best not to dwell on that. Whatever happened, happened. Focus on the here and now." Avery advised.
"I'll do my best." Kaeden replied before getting up. "I'm going to check on Tyler. Cause at the end of the day, Katherine, who oddly enough, looks like Elena, is an old vampire is here and with Damon around, things are about to get a little by dicy. And did I mention that the full moon is tonight?"
"You did. You just better hope Mason does what your mom's said and head into the mountains."
"That's my hope too." Kaeden replied before leaving. "See ya."

Alaric arrives at the Salvatore boarding house. And he's wondering why he was invited to begin with.
Damon greeted him. "Thanks for coming, Ric. Can I get you something to drink? Coffee, bourbon? Bourbon in your coffee?"
Alaric, still distrustful towards Damon, gets to the point. "Elena mentioned you needed my help."
