Once again, Tyler was on protection detail. And given that two Salvatore Vampires will do anything to get Elena back, where ever she is. At least for Damon, he'll hurt and kill anyone that might have some info. And he's thinking of using Kaeden's mom, his werewolf best friend or his witchy cousin and girlfriend. Seeing as Bonnie didn't help Damon in the first place, he figured it was fair game.

But before he headed to Kaeden's place, Tyler checks out the book about the lycans. And he seems fascinated. He can't believe Kaeden is a creature of both. And he can't wait to be one himself. So he can defend himself from Damon and any vampire that takes a shot at him.

Only two years left.

"Good book?" Tyler turns to see Kamila dropping by.

"Sorry, I didn't..."

"It's fine." Kamila chuckled. "Yeah, Kaeden isn't your typical jock. He likes to read to. Anything that can sharpen his mind. And he last helped you."

"Yeah, he's helped me a lot. Did you know my dad had Kaeden promise to look out for me?"

She shook her head. "No. I guess your dad knows Kaeden has been looking out for you and always watching your back."

"I'm a werewolf surrounded five vampires. One of them caused me and my uncle to activate the werewolf curse, the other is dating Elena, then there's an Original and then there's the one that tried to kill me and wants to because of what I am during a full moon."

Kamila understands that more than he thinks. "Sometimes being any supernatural, is bound to have a target on your back. For witches, it's either vampires want them to fashion them a daylight ring, help them out against a common foe, werewolves being targeted because of what they are. What our bite can do to them. Same is said for lycans, but they're difficult to kill at times. Few vampires and witches know of their true weakness. When they exploited those weakness, it drew the attention of the descendent of Lycaon. Among them being the Chadwick family. They untied all of their distant cousins and forced the vampires to either destroy all the enchanted silver weapons that were meant to kill them or face death."

Tyler nodded and understood. "Pretty much life or death."

"And they choose life." Kamila said. "Vampires can act high and mighty all they want, but when it comes to lycans and witches, they have the choice to back down or not."

Just then, Shante, who heard the conversation they were having, steps in. "Speaking of vampires, they're here."

Damon and Stefan had a feeling Kaeden was also behind Elena being "messing." So they came to talk. However, Kamila knows the former isn't one for "talk." His way involves torture and maybe death.

The phone vibrates and Shante takes her phone out and sees the message from Avery.

Avery: Alaric is unconscious. And Jeremy

Me: Cool. We'll take it from here

Shante puts her phone away and answers the door with Kamila by her side. Both women stood there, refusing to let them in. "Mrs. Chadwick. We know your son has Elena. Do you know where he is?"

"I'd say yes, but that would be a lie, because he hasn't told me." Kamila had her memory erased cause she knows that even if she did lied to him, they'd likely tell if she's lying.

"Well that's unfortunate. And too bad we haven't been invited in because I have ways of drawing that mutt out." Damon was referring to Kaeden with that insulting name.

"Or he'll kill you and your brother without even flinching or even a hint of remorse, is that a risk you're willing to take?" Kamila asked raising a brow.

"I don't know, Auntie K, I mean it seems every time you make stupid plans like provoking an Original, our asses are gonna be lit." Shante eyes Damon carefully, then turning to Stefan. "I can't tell you where Kaeden and Elena are at, but I can tell you that she's not in any danger from my cousin or Elijah for that matter."

"Then why the cloak and dagger?" Stefan asked.

"Because The Martin Witches were gonna rescue and pull the dagger out of Elijah. Had you guys had noticed, you would've done something that would set off my cousin. Like I don't know, using that flamethrower you guys had and burn Luka, this marking both yourselves for death."

Kamila speaks up before hit heads take over. "Kaeden's plans will assure us that Elijah won't take any of your heads."

Kaeden leaned against the tree and his eyes are closed as he's using his hearing to listen to his surroundings. Mostly he hears birds, leaves rustling around, the wind, and he can hear a vehicle coming his way.

He glanced to his right and saw Luka and Jonas with Elena. 'About motherfucking time.'

They arrived and Luka got out of the car, giving Elena's cellphone while he's at it. "I couldn't risk her calling those vampires."

"It's all good, Luka. Did Maeve gave you the instructions on how to break the salt spell?" Jaeden asked, and he nodded. "Good."

"I hope I didn't make the mistake in trusting you, Kaeden." Jonas clearly is still upset at Luka for telling Kaeden as to why they're really here.

"He's here, ain't he?"

Jonas muttered something in Latin and the cloaked disappeared and there was Elijah.

Kaeden turns to Elena. "This is why I don't trust your brother's boyfriend and even much less Stefan. You guys have no idea what these Originals are like when you backstab them."

"I swear, I didn't know. If I did..."

"Oh stop, Elena, there's nothing you really can do against two vampires, especially when one is too damn obsessed with you." Kaeden says as he watches as the dagger in Elijah gets pulled out by Jonas. Theres a cooler with blood bags in it because Elijah will be hungry after being daggered for about a day or two. "The plan is this: we negotiate with Elijah. And hopefully we come to some sort of agreement. Oh and stay behind me."

Soon, Elijah awakes, gasping for air, breathes quickly, and scans his surroundings. His eyes lay onto The Martin Witches, Kaeden and Elena. The latter which he rushes to her, but is blocked by Kaeden as he guessed he would do that. "Yeah I figured you'd be pissed, considering you were stabbed with that dagger. And you're not taking Elena to your brother. Instead, we're gonna talk about working together in order to defeat Klaus. Can I trust you won't rip us apart? Or try?" Kaeden asked while his eyes glowed yellow and Elena stood behind him.

Elijah looks at The Martin Witches, which he would have expected to help him, but clearly Kaeden struck an accord with them. "Can I trust you all?"

Kaeden gives him the dagger. "Had I known they'd plan this, I'd have stopped them." Elijah takes it and puts it in his pocket. "Try anything stupid, Elijah, imma rip that dagger from your pocket and shove it right back into your heart."

"You would dare threaten an Original?" Asked Elijah.

"Are you asking a direct descendent of Lycaon if I'm threatening one of the five Original Vampires? If so then yeah. While Elena may not be my best friend, she's Bonnie's, who happens to be my girlfriend. So that makes her important to me. And we both know I can beat you even if I'm not transformed, Elijah. That was just me showing off." Kaeden said with a cold tone. "And don't worry, Martins will still work with you. Let's head inside the cabin and we can talk. Freely."

Alright. I get that it's a bit early for Elijah to awaken from that, but at this point, I thought why the hell not.

And recap, yes, Luka and Jonas are still alive.
