Chapter 2: Talking With Tails

After cleaning his room, Sonic goes to Tails room. He pops open the door irritated, "Hey why were you both talking about me?" Tails stared at Sonic with fear in his eyes Knuckles wasn't fazed, "The fox and I were talking about you because we are worried. You lied to Tom earlier when he was talking to you why? Are you hiding something from us?" Sonic stood there not knowing how to react, "Yeah Sonic we are worried about you ever since that creature bit you, you've been acting weird are you sure your okay?" Sonic looks at Tails and Knuckles brushing it off while scoffing, "Yeah I'm fine why wouldn't I be?" Tails gives him a weird look, "Okay....we were just wondering." Sonic runs out of his room, "I gotta figure out what happened to me and what that thing was." he thinks to himself. He's about to walk downstairs until Ozzy stands there growling at him, "Ozzy what's wrong?" getting angry he begins chasing him. Sonic runs downstairs, "Tom help!!" Tom rushes to check up on his son, "What is it? Ozzy what's gotten into you?!" Tom wonders taking his dog outside, "They both weren't kidding." he thinks to himself running back upstairs, "So you believe us now?" Tails questions looking at Sonic as he breathes heavily, "Yeah I do whatever bit me made me some kind of monster. What do I need to do to get back to normal?" Knuckles tells him, "Well first things first we aren't going to tell mom and dad about this. Second of all you're going to listen to what we have to say since it might help you." Sonic walks up to Tails computer, "This is what I've been looking up ever since that thing bit you. We can help you before Tom and Maddie find out plus tomorrow night's a full moon." Sonic begins to cry, "Tom put Ozzy outside because he almost attacked me." Knuckles gives Sonic a hug, "No matter what happens we are going to help you." the three begin to clean up Tails room due to his inventions and gadgets being everywhere. Tom walks upstairs to check up on the boys, "Hey Sonic I just came up here to check up on you after Ozzy tried to attack you he didn't bite you did he?" Sonic is feeling down, "Yeah I am dad I'm not sure why Ozzy would attack me like that he wouldn't do such a thing." Tom cheers him up, "I'm not sure how about this I'm gonna go to the store and buy you all ice cream if your rooms are clean in the next hour or two." the three of them cheer in excitement, "Alright I'll be back Maddie should be back in the next couple of hours. Her sister, husband, and daughter will arrive at some point tomorrow morning or afternoon." Tom walks downstairs to grab his keys and heads off to the store. Sonic looks at Tails and Knuckles, "Okay what do I have to do?" Tails comes up with a plan, "Simple it's ten thirty right now you help us clean the house and after I'll do more research and think of something." Sonic runs downstairs to get a glass of water until his stomach starts growling, "After all that bacon that I ate I'm still hungry is that one of the side effects? No it can't be." He opens the cabinet to get a cup and hears his stomach growl again. Sonic opens the fridge to see leftover chicken from the other night, "That looks good!" salivating he licks his lips, "Everyone is upstairs, Tom is at the store, and Maddie is at work why not?"  He grabs the bag from the fridge eating it all in one sitting, he hiccups, "That hit the spot." burping right after. Knuckles sees Sonic at the table, "What are you doing Sonic we have to get done cleaning!" Sonic gets up to throw away his trash cleaning the house in super sonic speed. An hour later, Maddie arrives home, "Hey boys did you guys clean like Tom and I asked?" they each look at each other, "Yes." they tell her in unison. Maddie is thrilled, "Okay I'm going to go get my lunch that's in the fridge." She walks to the fridge to get her food until Maddie screams in horror, "Mom what happened?" Tails asked with puppy dog eyes, "Someone ate my food which one of you did it?" the trio stay silent, "Okay everyone on the couch." the three of them were nervously about to be in trouble.
