Chapter 18: Final Battle

Sonic and Shadow arrive on the battlefield to see Eggman in his battleship, "So hedgehogs...ready for a battle that you both won't win?" Shadow grunts, "Hmm...fine." Sonic laughs as the two spin dash through many of his robot enemies. Randall and Maddie hide and watch in their cars while Tails and Knuckles are in the back seat, "Okay we need to get close in order to give Sonic and Shadow the chaos emeralds." Randall drives the car fast to help Sonic and Shadow. After defeating the robots, Sonic makes fun of Robotnik, "Is that really all you got?" Eggman chuckles letting out the surprise, the werewolf that turned them, "You see hedgehogs I always have a plan and you can't stop me. It's my dog not a person who I turned. Get them!" He orders the dog as it charges towards them, the two move quickly out of the way, "Sonic!!!" a voice tells out throwing the chaos emeralds at the duo, "Thanks Tails! Alright Shadow we are going to finish this Super style!" The two transform into their super forms. Sonic grabs Eggman's dog throwing it into space without a bite on his hand this time. Sonic and Shadow get ready to use their powers to get rid of Eggman's battleship making holes as it begins to explode, "I can't believe this. Agent Stone...prepare the bomb that in the center of Green Hill Zone!" Agent Stone prepares the bomb, "Oh no!" Maddie exclaims, "How will we get rid of it! What are we gonna do?!" yelling out loud panicking. Sonic sees his mom freaking out and uses his speed to carry the bomb in space, "Sorry guys..." with tears in his eyes, "I'm doing this to make you proud." Back on earth, Shadow puts more holes into the ship and goes to take Robotnik and Stone out of the ship saving them, "He will question you..." looking right at Wade, "That's right guys I'm head Sheriff now. Well Tom is out so I'm in charge." Sonic throws the bomb in space in the middle of nowhere as it begins to explode flying far away from it back down to earth. Maddie sees her son, "Sonic!!!" She gets out of her car running towards the super being turning himself along with Shadow back to normal, "I missed you so much!" Sonic hugs his mom in return, "I'll always come back. Good job brothers you have done awesome!" Shadow sees them celebrating as he walks the other way, "Hey where are you going?" Randall asks as Shadow turns back, "He's going off on his own." Sonic looks at Shadow, "Don't get kidnapped this time." Shadow smiles waving goodbye as everyone else goes back home to see Tom while Robotnik and Stone are tied up. Wade takes them into custody.
