Chapter 12: The Plan

Sonic runs inside shocked, "Mom! Dad went to go to Robotnik's hideout!" Maddie gasps couldn't believe what she was hearing, "What?! Why would he go alone shouldn't he have gone with you?" Shadow joins the conversation, "He went so he can cure the both of us if I were him I would've done the same." Sonic tells him, "Maybe but there are other ways to find a cure than getting himself kidnapped." Knuckles intervenes, "You both can't go it's obviously a trap not even you Sonic you don't have control over your werewolf form." Maddie tells Sonic, "Knuckles is right. Shadow is the one going to teach you how to control it and you're not going to save Tom until you start controlling yourself." this irritates Sonic, "Mom I'm fine! I don't need a lecture I need to save dad and that's all that matters right now!" Maddie starts to give her son a cold stare, "I am your mom and you will do as I say!" Sonic starts to get angry. His eyes start to turn a dark green with his pupils start to become a slit shape, "Don't you growl at me if you keep this up Sonic you will go to your room!" Tails gets in Sonic's way, "There is no time to get angry Sonic." Sonic looks at Tails with anger in his eyes, "I'm not afraid of what you've become at all we all aren't but we need to listen to mom." Sonic keeps looking at Tails as he stands his ground. He takes a few deep breaths and calms down, "Tails? I hear you." He looks at Maddie, "I'm sorry mom." Middle forgives him, "It's okay Sonic." giving him a hug as the two embrace. Shadow interrupts, "We need to rescue Tom before the full moon comes out again tonight." Knuckles raises his hand, "Sure we just find his place, knock on the door, and break it down plus grab Tom and leave." Shadow tells him, "Punching the door down won't do a thing because the doctor has robots he can send at any time. No matter what you do it's going to be a trap." Sonic stands there crossing his arms trying to think for a moment, "Alright we are just going to have to get Eggman to think that we aren't going to save Tom for the time being. But we need a plan." The others smile in agreement. Shadow grabs a piece of paper along with a pencil to map out Robotnik's lab, "So this is where I was being held captive at" pointing at the lower right of the paper, "Eggman experimented on me here which is more than likely where Tom is being held at." Knuckles chimes in, "It will be difficult but we have to know how many robots are going to be in there. One of us are going to have to be a distraction while everyone else splits up and searches every room in the doctors base." Shadow agrees, "Tails you're going to take down the security system to make sure the doctor isn't watching along with the robots by shutting them down. Knuckles you and I are going to look through every room to search for Tom and Sonic you're going to distract the doctor along other robots that are with him. Maddie and the others will wait outside we will keep in contact by using these." he brings out walkie talkies, "To make sure you guys are on the line if anything goes wrong. Ready?" Sonic happily agrees, "Yeah!" putting his fist out in the form of a fist bump as the entire Wackowski family goings the power bump and Shadow joins, "Let's go get dad back!"
