Chapter Eleven

It was the day of the final performance, Haven was looking around the stage to see any familiar faces but no one came to see her. She clutched onto her phone tightly and sighed in disappointment, her mother is busy with the filing of divorce. Mika was in university and Themarie could barely be present in her most milestone chase of a lifetime. It was heartbreaking and Haven could only feel bad for herself only.

She was dressed in a pink ballerina outfit, it was a pink designed corset top with hand sewed flowers and leaves, the details went down just on the side of her hips forming it into a flower to layer with her white tutu skirt. Hair was in a perfect sleek bun with some flowers decorated there, her make up wasn't too toned to the extravagant side but a very timeless one.

"You're so pretty!" Harlow approached as she squealed, Mason came along the second after. The two were in the same act so they had a matching green-blue-orange dyed ballerina outfit. They were supposed to resemble a candy, their make up was in a very fun color. Haven could at least smile at the two, she may not have her favorite persons with her watching her but she'll be performing with one of the most loving persons she has.

"And so are you two, our entire nearly eight month of practice paid off." Haven opened her arms and the three of them hugged one another making Haven giggle lightly at least. She may feel like others are not with her but there are others who are always by their side.

"I'm so proud of all of us." Mason grinned as their hug breaks, though she has a masculine future and actions. Mason can still pull off such a very womanly manner. The pop of colors from her outfits and makeup were a sight to see.

"Imagine the few days before our biggest performance, we were just drinking our lives away." Harlow tries her best to stay shushed. Barely half of the ballerina in this performance took their pleasure and time with drinking the night away.

"How about, drinks on me later?" Haven said as she grinned. The two girls rolled their eyes as she softly laughed at her. This was a new habit of Haven they supported. At least in this way she can cope with all the pain and sadness that she feels.

"Fine, but only because you say." Harlow grinned and the staff were calling the three of them to go near the opening of the stadium. Haven gave a quick glance in the threatre seats where the people were already sitting. She wanted to see a familiar face but her heart only ached seeing no one was there for her.

"Hey?" Haven hears Halsey's voice and Haven glances at the woman that is in front of her. Halsey's hair was in a long ponytail, she was dressed in a very elegant suit and she was hearing an ID which presented her name and her position in the backstage.

"Coach." Haven cracks a faint smile as she walks with Halsey towards the framed doorway to the backstage.

"What's gotten you so down? The main ballerina should not carry these emotions today,no?" Halsey tries her best to enlighten the mood of the deflated ballerina. Halsey was right on the other hand. She shouldn't show such a vulnerable state knowing she's a main ballerina with the goal to empower the stage and not make it look like a depressive show.

Haven and Halsey walked together, the other ballerinas were running and giggling as they went to the back part of the stage. "I just...expected more support." Haven mumbled. She loves to please the people she loves with what she's got. She knew it was backburning but perhaps it's her way to make herself feel different and be the most loved person during these times.

Halsey pats onto Haven's back. "I'm here, Harlow and Mason. Of course there is no doubt the other ballerina's look forward to your performances too." She said with full enthusiasm which made Haven smile as she heard it. Of course it's a different experience when it comes to the ones who were dancing by her side. It just meant they looked up to her but what Haven wanted was to be applauded.
