Haven groaned awake when the sunlight struck her face. She hummed before getting up from the plush bed she laid on all night. Haven looked around for Themarie and she only heard a faint sound of a piano being played. She stood up and glanced on the month that Themarie highlighted, it looked like she would have another piano performance. Haven looked at it closely seeing that there were some dots on the numbers of the calendar. This month was the month when they got married to one another and it seemed like Themarie was trying to dot the numbers because she was unable to know which date it was.
The door cracked open and she saw Themarie bringing some breakfast for Haven. Both the women paused for a second as they stared at one another in a very awkward situation. "You can eat by the diner table." Haven said.
Themarie's eyebrows met and she shook her head."This was supposed to be for you, since you were still asleep a while ago. I figured to bring it to you in case you wake up hungry." Themarie gives her reason and Haven did a slow nod of her head understanding the woman. Themarie had been quite a good wife as the days passed by, Haven got used to it but not too much.
Themarie's affectionate nature sometimes gives Haven quite a shock or she gets uncomfortable knowing that Themarie had never done those things to her. It can turn very awkward right away when that happens.
"O-oh. I thought you were hungry." Haven said and her cheeks slightly flushed a little out of embarrassment thinking that Themarie was bringing food for herself to eat. Themarie shook her head before putting the food down the table. Haven hummed before taking a little glance at Haven who is in front of the calendar.
"What are you looking over there?" Themarie takes a closer look at her and chuckles.
"Nothing." Haven shakes her head and pointed the number twenty eighth of September and she goes towards Themarie to get her food. Themarie nodded her head then sighed.
"You seem tired." Haven takes a sip of orange juice. Themarie shook her head and both of them heard the sound of Themarie's angry piano coach. Haven couldn't help but lightly laugh. Themarie's piano coach can sometimes be such a terror.
"I just wanna escape from her." Themarie rolled her eyes and gently smiled when she saw Haven trying her very best to not laugh out at Themarie's situation. Themarie might hate it when her coach is too much of a pushover but seeing Haven's smile made her feel at ease at least.
"You look beautiful when you start smiling." Themarie says warmly and Haven's heart swelled a little hearing such a loving compliment. At times like this, it leaves her thinking if the real Themarie was abducted and replaced with an alien, she would never complain if that happens but Havne knew clearly that this was Themarie for real, someone who is trying her very best to change and make it up to her.
"You just never cared to look at it before." Haven stuck out her tongue playfully and that made Themarie roll her eyes. She couldn't debate with that, she knew what Themarie said was true. She only dared to look now and realized how damned crazy she was for ever trying to neglect such a woman.
"Yeah, okay fine. I'm sorry." Themarie said which made Haven cross her arms.
"No strong response Mrs. Sterling?" Haven had a very daring tone making Themarie shake her head and raise both her hands up as if she was surrendering making Haven raise her brows at Themarie.
"Nope, you know damn well you're correct in every aspect." Themarie would just have to keep on agreeing and making up with her wrongs. If she gets a happy wife, a less worried and feral one. That's going to be the biggest fulfillment of her life.
