Chapter Twenty Two

Matured content.

A month has passed after the scandalous headline. Haven had only lived herself inside her Mom's house and had never went out. Ever. You could say it was the most boring part of her life yet. This was so differrent back at the mansion where she has the biggest place to dance or talk to the maids. The days she was here was quite lonely, Mika is always on univesity and Haven's Mom have always been going out lately leaving her alone in the house.

"What is she even doing now?" Haven says to herself as a flash of Themarie's face suddenly appears in her brain and she shook her head.

Haven stared at the ceiling blankly before she stands up from laying down. She unknownly opened her phone for the first time in a very long time and a bunch of messages popped up the moment she turned it on. She scrolled down seeing messages from friends and relatives, her co-ballerinas and Halsey.

Her eyes squinted before she pressed Halsey's messages that mainly consisted of the woman trying to shade Themarie and talking bad about Themarie while boosting herself up. Haven felt an ick but she did understand where Halsey was coming from. Haven just didn't like the whole idea of Halsey talking things below the belt. She left the woman on read instead, She didn't know what to actually say to Halsey actually and she proceeds to go on reading articles then a bunch more of messages that were concerns and supports for her during her time of down fall.

Haven's heart felt light as a she didn't expect to receive such love from them but she felt highly bitter at the fact that she's receiving so much love and Themarie was given below the belt comments but that was not Haven's problem to deal with anymore. She partially healed herself all alone, Themarie may not deserve every bad word but she deserved the torture of it all.

"Maybe I should go out now. The scandal might've died already." Haven says to herself with a tiny smile and she goes to her wardrode as she hums a familiar song that Themarie usually plays in the piano in which Haven immediately put a stop to it.

"Move forward, let it go." She tells herself and took a deep breath before she opens her wardrobe to see a bunch of normal casual attires. She picks up one with the most simple dress, the white turtle neck top with a silk long skirt that is beige color before throwing off a cardigan that is colored brown and that was her outfit alone with getting her hair in a feminine hairstyle with a white bow on it.

She stared at herself in the mirror, her hair grew longer and she was getting thinner. She barely ate in this house nor took care of herself during the passing days. She either just sleeps a lot or stays awake and her mind starts to do the rest. It was the hardest month to get by but she made it out and hopefully she never comes back to that slump ever again.

"It's over Haven. We're finally free now." Haven smiles at herself and tears welled up in her eyes. Haven sighed as she looked down at her feet, no matter how hard she would make herself feel better. The bitterful events and unhappy moments flashes back in her mind like rainfall but what was worse was the most beautiful nostalgia within that chaos, existed somewhere in the pile of those harsh fragments of memories.

"I hate you for doing this to me." Haven struggled to say as she closed her eyes and let the tears flow down her cheeks. She hated feeling guilty for others and not feeling the slightest pity for herself. Fragments of memories from their marriage kept playing in her head. She hated how Themarie managed to get her space within her own heart and mind when the woman only gave her so much pain to settle on and less love to remember.

All her love was given to Themarie and only Themarie, she had none left for herself but bandages to heal herself with.

She takes the biggest of breaths before she picked herself up, she wiped her tears and smiled at the mirror she is facing before putting on her lipstick as her eyes welled up all over again, the hand that held her lipstick trembles as she applies the flushed pink lipstick color as tears run down her cheeks.
