Epilogue

As the day flew by like a swan in migration, so did Haven and Themarie's. The snake had finally got out of the cold temperature to embrace the warmth of the world.
Haven found herself staring at the lake as the sun rises, the moment they were in the country. They decided to live together again, just the two of them. The maids and the other persons in the mansion had their rightful jobs. Themarie had provided for them for the last time.
They learned it all in a hard way.
Haven felt the soft breeze of the wind brushing against her bare skin and glossy messy hair. She wore a white long sleeve, the fabric ended just by her buttocks and her panties showed. She was basically bare with only the long sleeve covering her back, arms and the curves of her boobs. She takes a sip of coffee by the balcony. Both Haven and Themarie picked this house to stay in, a perfect and small home for just the two of them.
The lake view was perfect because it faces where the sun would rise and where the fullest of the moon can be displayed. The two storey vintage looking house, the white flowers on the sides of the lake and the outside of the house, some green vines and other plants made it all look so majestic. The lake water sparkles during the midst of day and the heights of the night. Their house wasn't as big and luxurious as the mansion they had but it was just right with all the elegance and floral theme motif fit for the house and where it is located.
They picked the right place at the right time of their love.
The sun was glistening and Haven looked back by the open door frame from their balcony to the bedroom where Themarie lay asleep and full of blankets surrounding her.
She was snug.
Haven's eyes could only tell what she has been through all those years just to get this right.
Was it worth it?
It was.
It was.
She knew she could've had a different run in her life, she could've spread her wings and fly in another direction. She knew there were different paths, a different ending but yet again, if she turns the whole world upside down. She would still look for this feeling. The feeling of love being so different, aching– a love so late but it finally became right, the last time around.
Love in its last sweetness.
Tho Haven wouldn't romanticize this for everyone else. She had a strong heart, something people would scream at her for being a fool for. She had all the reasons to run and hide yet she chose to let herself be seen and be caught. A love like this isn't meant to be for everyone, yet she stayed and held on for the last, final thread of that time.
Loving Themarie was not for the softest of hearts.
Haven could only smile at the sight as she buttons her top and chuckles when she hears the little giggle and whine, just beside Themarie. Another blanket was wriggling and slowly, the little princess showed. Her eyes resemble Haven and emotion like Themarie.
"Good morning," Haven says in a hushed tone as she puts her mug down on the tableside before she gets inside to have a snuggle at the little puppy beside Themarie. She slowly goes to the bed, laid there as the little puppy goes to her. Haven gives it a kiss and a cuddle. She loves the life she has now no matter how difficult it was for her to desperately have it like this in the first place.
"Shush, your Mommy is sleeping." Haven lightly giggled as she picks up the puppy and placed it right on her stomach before it crawls to her face, licking her cheek and nose. Snuggling close to her.
