Grace stood in the bedroom with Derek as he looked to her "are you sure about this" Derek asked as he looked to Grace As she got ready.
"I have to go back to work Derek. This merger. It's a lot" she said as he looked to her
"Gracie"
"Derek. I'm fine. I still have a tumour I do, but I'm better in good but I am so far behind everyone else in my residency program and I am so scared I won't catch up to them. With this merger there is cuts and I'm scared I am going to be next" she said as Derek looked to her and smiled
"Okay I'm not going to stop you. You wouldn't listen to me if I was going to do. Please just be careful and don't rush" he said as she nodded
He walked over to her and placed a hands on her cheek and smiled as he leant in and kissed her
"I'll be careful I promise" she said as he smiled. He knew how she had died in his arms not long ago and he didn't want to loose her. Not when so much had happened between the two of them

"Karev, what do you got?" Derek asked as he walked into the exam room
"16-year-old helmeted dirt bike victim. G.C.S. 15 reported before intubation. " Alex said
"Okay. On my count. Ready? One, two, three." Derek said
" I'm gonna scrub in. " Alex said as Alex goes to scrub in. Derek starts a neuro exam.
"So he announces a merger, and then he shuts himself in his office all day and refuses to talk to anybody. " derek said
"This merger won't affect us. It's just a financial restructuring. " mark ssid
"What do you think restructuring is? Cutting personnel. Are you prepared to lose all the good people? I'm not. Tell Hunt he's good to go. I'll write up a consult later. I'm gonna go talk to Richard right now. " derek said as Derek leaves and Mark follows him.
"You're tired. You're angry. You're gonna say something you'll regret. Get outta here for a while. Go to the driving range, hit a bucket of balls. " mark said
" I have a surgery in an hour. " derek said
" So take a walk. Grab Gracie , take a walk. "
"Grace won't leave the hospital. None of 'em will. Everyone's awaiting word from on high. Look, don't tell me Bella's not worried." Derek said
"Wait grace is back to work?" Mark asked as Bella comes running over with the blood for the patient.
" Is he in there? ! 'cause I've got the ... " Bella said as ahe falls to the ground on top of all the blood.
"No. Bella's worried. " mark said

Bella cleaned herself up in the bathroom.
"I think you missed a spot. " mark said
"You can't tease me about the blood thing because it's not funny. And if it gets back to the Chief, I may as well just pack my things. " Bella said
