Derek sat in the kitchen as he sat talking to Susan grey. He sat sipping his coffee
"Gracie she'll accept a certain amount of help and then she starts to feel suffocated." Derek said as Susan stood unpacking shopping
"Oh! Is this...am I suffocating?" Susan asked
"Oh no, the groceries are just right. It's me. I sometimes overdo it." Derek said
" Well, who can blame you? With...after Ellis died, I gave her some time but I wanna be here. I wanna help make things easier... for both of them" Susan said
"Good, yeah. Just try to keep it light, you know? Be helpful..." Derek said as grace walked into the room and frowned
"Good morning." Derek said as he kissed his girlfriend
" Morning." Grace said
" You want some coffee?" He asked
"Yes. This all you?" Grace asked Susan
"I just picked up some things to restock your fridge."
"You bought groceries last week." Grace said
"Yeah, you have to do it every week, if you want more." Derek said as grace rolled her eyes at her boyfriend
"Well, thank you. It's unexpected and you didn't need to do all this." Grace said to Susan as Alex walks in
"This for everybody?" Alex asked
"Absolutely." Susan said
"I'm gonna run, I gotta talk to Richard before things get too busy at the hospital. I'll see you." Derek said as grace looked to him
"Are you gonna talk to him about the uh..." Grace asked
"Yeah. Wish me luck." Derek said as he kissed her forehead
"You don't need it. Just make him listen to you. You deserve to be chief." Susan said

Bella got to work and walked into loft. She knew how she had to get out of the house. Susan grey was there and it was weird and it was getting more crowded and she knew that she found t be there with Grace with a straight face without making a joke and Bella knew that she'd end up with a fat lip if she kept winding Grace up
She stood next to mark in the lift as he looked to her and smirked "Angel"
"Man whore"
"I'm no man whore remember our little bet" he said as she smirked
"Oh how could I forget" she said as the chief got in with a woman. Bella and mark stood at the back of the lift
"Nice sweater."
"Yeah...my wife..." richard said as mark pulled a face as Bella gave him a look
"What?"
"My wife, she gave it to me...the sweater. Actually, it's my ex-wife. It's amicable." Richard said as bella face palmed. She felt awkward
