Grace stood in the doorway of her and Derek's bedroom. She had just finished throwing up as Derek looked to her and smiled

"Hey are you okay" he asked as she looked to him and smiled

"I feel meh" she said as he walked over to her and kissed the top of her head

"I know. Look you and I are going to have this baby and I know that your scared I know you Gracie. I know that your worried you'll end up like your mom and you have Alzheimer's like her but I already know that you will be a great mom" he said as she looked to him and smiled

"What did I ever do to deserve you" Grace said

"Got me drunk that night in the bar" he said as she rolled her eyes

"We were as drunk as each other" Grace said

Richard is in the residents lounge as all the residents are getting ready for work.

"I have great faith in you ... Great faith. I can because I chose you, I trained you. I've watched you work. I know what you can do. That's why today is different. The training wheels are coming off, people." Richard said

"Navy scrubs? " Meredith asked

"Attending scrubs. You are attendings today. Run the cases, take point, but don't be a fool. If you get in over your head, cry uncle. Until then ... Congratulations. You've just been promoted. " richard said as grace and Bella held a look

" Um, chief webber. Uh, sorry. I-I didn't get any scrubs." Lexie said

"Oh, this is for fourth-year residents only, Grey. It's just a regular day for you. "

"Well, fine. Well, if they're gonna be attendings, then that makes me chief resident. " lexie said

"No. That makes you our scut monkey. " Alex said

"Leave her be" Grace said

"No, it doesn't. Does ... does it? " lexie asked

"It doesn't. The attendings aren't going anywhere. We're basically just playing dress up" meredith said

"Whatever I rock the navy blue scrubs" Bella said

"Of course you do Isabella" Grace said as she rolled her eyes at her

Jackson, Grace, and Derek are in Ellie's room.

"Ms. Radigan, you're still having these headaches and ringing in the ears?" Grace asked

"All day long. It's driving me crazy. "

"It's caused by a buildup of fluid in your skull. So what we will do is insert a shunt, and that will relieve the pressure on your brain. " Jackson said

"What do you mean,"we"? You're doing the actual tube part in the brain, right, no not them? "

"Excuse her. She's a schoolteacher. She talks to everyone like they're hiding gum behind their back. " ellie said

"That's all right. She can ask questions. Dr. Grey and Dr. Avery are residents. They're very talented. One of them will be performing the procedure, and I will be observing." Derek said
