Grace stood in the ER as she updated the board. She looked to see Bella
"You know that you could help" Grace said
"I have been in the nicu all day. My boyfriend is in surgery so I can to join my pregnant sister to keep her company. Derek thinks that you are over doing it" Bella said as grace looked to her and smiled
"Derek worries I'm pregnant not disabled" Grace said as The phone rings.
" You might want to get that." Bella said
Grace looked to Bella and rolled her eyes
"And here I thought that you were coming to help" Grace said as she answered the phone
"Seattle Grace Mercy west emergency. " Grace said as she answered the phone
" You brought this on yourself, you know? You volunteered to help run the E.R.? " bella asked
"Got it. We've got a suspected appy on a 10 year old. Let's page Robbins. You know, I saw a need and I filled it, like any good chief resident candidate. chief resident candidate maybe. "
"What is up with you? You're all perky and cheerful." Bella asked
"Your brother gave me some great sex this morning. Besides it's the hormones" Grace said as Lexie comes over
" Hey, I got a patient with a headache better after sumatriptan. He's ready to be discharged. Just need you to sign off. " lexie said
"Is he neurologically intact? " Grace asked
" Mm-hmm. "
"You did a C.T. ? " Grace asked
"I did. It was negative. The most interesting thing about this guy is that he came into the E.R. for a glorified migraine with a girlfriend from hell." Lexie said
"Ooh, which one is she? Just point with your eyes. " Bella asked
" No, I mean, I know. It's just not a priority Right now, obviously..." lexie said as With her eyes, she points towards the patient's "girlfriend from hell".
" Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. Here. " Grace said
"Thank you. " lexie said as she leaves as Arizona arrives
"Grey, you paged? "
"Yeah, we have a suspected appy on a 10 year old two minutes out." Grace said
" Okay. An unexpected thing. Grey, call up. Tell 'em to get an O.R. ready"
"I already did. O.R. five is prepped and ready for you. " Grace said as Arizona leaves.
"Callie asked me to be her baby's godmother. I think that she just asked for mark" bella said
"Oh. Well, you said no to that, right? You gotta say no to that." Grace said
"Why"
"Because your my baby's god mother and auntie"
