Grace sat in Cristina and Burke apartment as they sat studying for their intern exams. Grace knew they she was too tired to deal with it. She knew that as soon as she had the exams out of the way that she had to start as a residents. Grace knew that there was tension with Derek as well and she didn't know how to deal with it
"What percentage of Americans look at an acute apnea?" Alex asked
"What are the signs of a central line infection?" Alex asked
"Puss, redness and fever." Grace said
"What's Kahn's syndrome?" Alex asked
"Wait, wait, I know this." Bella said
"Tick tock dude." Izzie said
"Um..." Grace said
"Cracking under the pressure?" George asked
"No! Um...hypocortolis...cortolism..." Grace said
"Primary hypro dostrolonism. Yes, out of the seat. My turn" cristina said
"No it's my turn" izzie said
"No it's not." Crisis said as Burke walked over with cake
"Oh honey I..." Cristina said
"Try this one. White sponge with vanilla butter cream." Burke said
"Ok yeah. I'm trying to study for the most important test of my intern career. I don't have time for wedding cake" cristina said
"Just try it." Burke said
"If she doesn't want it I'll have it " Bella said as Burke handed her some as Bella took a bite
" Go, go!" Izzie said
"What is the strongest layer of the small bowel?" George asked
"Fine, yummy, go!" Cristina said as bella sat eating cake
"You swapping sex for cake. You still have the deal with Sloan" Grace asked as Bella nodded
"I need some sort of orgasm so I'll go for a food one" bella said
"Damn it. Damn it. Damn it. Damn it." Izzie asked as grace laughed
"It is not snot." Geroge said
"Submucousa" izzie said
"Yes."
"Wait, wait. How do you know that? Are you studying with the wife's cards?" Cristina asked
"What cards?" Meredith asked
"Callie was ranked number one in her year after this test. She has legendary flash cards." Cristina said
"So don't need the flash cards. We are independently brilliant." Izzie said
"Dream team." George said
"I may vomit" Grace said
"Yeah, yeah. I wanna hurl. Out of the seat." Cristina said
