Mailins POV:

Once the chore was done, we made our way back to our respective rooms. I was on the verge of entering mine when I heard Amanda calling my name. I turned to find her walking toward me.

"Mailin!" she called out, her tone carrying a hint of urgency. I waited as she reached me.

"Yes, Amanda?" I replied, curious about what she wanted to discuss.

"Um... I need to tell you something. Could we go outside?" she requested.

"Sure," I agreed, feeling a blush creeping onto my cheeks. Amanda took my hand, and together we ventured outside, finding a quiet spot on a nearby bench.

"Okay, um... back when you defended me, did you really mean it? That I'm the most amazing, most beautiful, and most talented girl you've ever met?" she inquired, her gaze searching mine for sincerity.

I felt my cheeks flush with warmth as I stumbled over my words, my nerves causing me to fidget. Eventually, I mustered the courage to meet her eyes directly. "Yes," I confessed softly.

Amanda blushed in response, her lime-green eyes locking with mine. She reached out, gently cupping my cheek. "Mailin?" she whispered.

"Yeah?" I stuttered, my heart racing with anticipation.

And then, in a moment that seemed to suspend time itself, I felt her lips press against mine. My eyes widened in surprise before fluttering closed, surrendering to the tender embrace. Amanda's touch ignited a rush of warmth within me as I wrapped my arms around her neck, drawing her closer.

After what felt like an eternity, we reluctantly parted, our breaths mingling in the cool evening air. "Wow," we both breathed in unison, breaking into a nervous yet delighted giggle.

"Amanda," I began, my hand still resting against her cheek, "I've admired you from the moment I laid eyes on you. You're beautiful, amazing, and simply extraordinary."

Amanda's cheeks flushed with warmth. "I really like you too," she admitted shyly, her eyes sparkling with affection.

My smile widened, reflecting the joy that surged within me, and we shared another tender kiss. As we pulled away, allowing ourselves a moment to catch our breath, Amanda's voice, soft yet filled with sincerity, broke the silence.

"Mailin, will you be my girlfriend?" she asked, her gaze earnest.

My heart soared with happiness as I responded without hesitation. "Yes!" I exclaimed, embracing her tightly, feeling a rush of warmth and contentment enveloping us both.

In the serene ambiance of the evening, Amanda and I walked hand in hand back inside the school, our steps synchronized in harmony with the newfound joy in our hearts.

As we reached the corridor outside our rooms, we paused, the moment hanging between us, infused with a blend of anticipation and affection.

"Goodnight, babe," Amanda whispered, her words accompanied by a tender kiss that left my cheeks tingling with warmth.

A delighted squeal escaped my lips, my heart fluttering with happiness as Amanda chuckled softly, bidding me goodnight once more before retreating to her room.

As I stepped into my own quarters, a sense of contentment washed over me, accompanied by the lingering sensation of Amanda's lips on mine.

But before I could fully savor the moment, I was startled by the sudden presence of Nike and Naile, who appeared unexpectedly close.

"Spill!" they demanded eagerly; their expressions filled with curiosity.

I jumped, my heart racing from the surprise. "Don't scare me like that!" I chided them playfully, relieved to return to the comforting familiarity of our shared companionship.

"Sorry, but spill! Are you guys dating now?" Nike's eyes sparkled with excitement as she looked at me, eager for confirmation.

"Yes!" I couldn't contain my joy, and we all squealed happily, enveloping each other in a tight hug.

"I'm so happy for you guys!" Naile beamed at me; her smile radiant with genuine happiness.

"Same!" Nike chimed in, echoing Naile's sentiment.

"Thanks, guys. You're the best," I expressed my gratitude, feeling overwhelmed by their support. "But don't tell the others, I want them to guess. I love making others guess things."

"Ok!" They both agreed enthusiastically, and with that, we finally retired to bed, filled with excitement and anticipation for the new day.
