Mailin's pov
I glanced around at the faces of my friends, my vision still adjusting to the sudden return of consciousness. "What happened?" I asked, my voice tinged with confusion.
"We found you unconscious, and you were like that for two weeks," Professor Ursula explained gently.
"What?!" My shock was palpable, my mind struggling to grasp the reality of the situation.
"It's okay, it's okay. You're awake now, and that's all that matters," Amanda reassured me, her touch comforting as she cupped my face, our foreheads leaning against each other.
"Do you remember anything?" Lotte inquired; her voice soft with concern.
I shook my head apologetically. "No, sorry," I replied with a sheepish grin.
"Well, we should go now," the Professor interjected, ushering everyone outside before closing the door behind us.
Third Person pov
Amanda gazed at Mailin with relief flooding her expression. "I missed you. So, so much," she confessed, leaning in to kiss her. Mailin returned the kiss, her smile lighting up her face.
"I'm sorry for being gone so long," Mailin apologized softly.
"You have nothing to apologize for, babe. I'm just glad you're okay," Amanda reassured her, settling onto the bed with her back against the wall. Mailin settled into her lap, prompting her to continue. "How was I woken up?" she inquired, her gaze fixed on Amanda, who blushed slightly.
"True love's kiss," Amanda admitted, her own happiness evident.
"I love you so much!" Mailin exclaimed happily, sealing their words with another kiss. Their embrace deepened, their kisses growing more intense until they finally lay down on the bed, wrapped up in each other's arms
"I'm tired," Mailin confessed with a yawn.
Amanda chuckled softly. "You just slept for two weeks, cutie," she teased, succumbing to a yawn herself.
"You're tired too," Mailin pointed out, poking her gently.
Amanda simply smiled at her, and soon they both drifted off to sleep, finding solace and comfort in each other's embrace.
