"Yeah, we've used them since the start- we can show you if that's what you're worried about."
He poked at our sticks a little bit more before he wrote something down on a clipboard and handed it to one of the men holding a gun closest to him.
"That's fine, I'm just shocked that you made it this far without having to use any guns."
He waved a hand around in the air and all the guns were lowered without a single word spoken between anyone, it amazed me how in tune everyone seemed to be with this Garret man, but the feeling of dread was still there.
"Sorry about that, protocall- we've had people try to come through here and take control over everything so we've gotten a few...new methods of safety since then. I can show the both of you around if you want but there's really not much to see on the surface."
Garret nodded to a rather large looking black male with a balding patch and the rest of the men vanished and left us alone with Garret, and I couldn't help but to notice that his light eyes never leaved me for too long.
"If you don't mind, I have some questions for each of you and then we can get you settled in to your new sleeping quarters before dinner...the meat here is just to die for if you ask me."

"So, care to tell me the truth yet or do you still wanna lie?"
My arms were bound behind my back with thin bands of wiring that tightened each time I tried to free myself, and my ankles were bound to the metal chair I was in with the same thing, my muscles were aching with fatigue; I don't know just how long I've been in this small little room with him but I hadn't seen Jay since we got here. I know that I've dozed off here and there at least three times and someone came in every once in a great while to feed me bits of stale bread and cold water.
"You've got some meat on your bones, but you're smarter then the other one that came in with you, I know you are. Where did you come from and why did you come here?"
"...I already told you this, we were at a prison down the tracks but it got over run a few days ago so we had to run. We just followed the tracks and found your signs a few miles out."
Garret smirked before he pushed a button and a large man wearing a stained apron came through the door behind him holding a very crude looking carving knife stained crimson red.
"Whatever you say, either way, you're going to make tonights meal delectable."
I screamed as the larger man got closer and tried thrashing against my bindings even though I knew it would do no good.

Jay's POV:
The door to the compartment was shoved open and I blinked against the bright light as more people were shoved inside with the rest of us and the door was bolted shut again, my eyes readjusted to the darkness pretty quickly and saw that it was Rick, Daryl, Michonne, and Carl. I looked closer at Daryl to see if he had Belle's chain and saw a bit of it peeking out of the collar to his shirt.
"You found her sign then?"
He nodded.
"A few days ago- maybe two, we tried scouting the place out to see if we could see you two but we didn't see anything..."
He looked around the dark train car and when he didn't see Belle anywhere his eyebrows furrowed together in confusion.
"She's not in here with you? How'd you two get caught?"
"I think our weapons gave us away....I tried to pass off some spears but I don't think he bought it and it worries me. They've had her for a few days now I think."
I knotted my fingers together and blew out of my nose before touching a few fingers to both of my temples.
"I think they're cannibals, and if they consume her blood to any extent, we're going to have a lot more problems on our hands then bratty assholes."
Rick looked up from a spot on the other side of the darkened room and cocked his head to the side before he joined the two of us near the middle.
"That's how you change isn't it? I remember, Belle used some of her blood to heal Hershel's leg...but surely that's not enough to change someone into one of you-"
"It's not, but it's enough to give them traits until their body shuts down from not completing the rituals...but we don't need them getting close enough to her blood to consume it."
Rick patted at the bolted door with the palm of his right hand and swore under his breathe before he turned away from it again and cracked some of his knuckles together.
"They're gonna figure out really fucking quick that they're messing with the wrong people- could you help get us out of here?"
"Yeah, but I'm not busting out of here without her...I don't know where they're holding her but I'll be able to catch onto her scent if they've done anything to her."
He was about to say something else when loud screaming started and cut him off, the sounds were tearing at my ears and tears were pricking the edges of my eyes; whatever was screaming was being tortured to death.
Belle's POV:
The screaming hurt my ears but it sounded oddly muffled, like whoever was making the noise had something over their mouths; I struggled against the one who was carrying me until all sound cut off abruptly when I was taken into a new room entirely. Whoever it was slammed me down onto a cold metal table before they pulled the cloth from my eyes to let me see.
