"But everyone else still has their colors. Anything anyone wants to add before we head out?"
I raised a hand up before I put it down on a corner of the map that was threatening to curl around the rock that was holding it down.
"I was gonna say that as soon as we get all of our markers put down we were going to hunt so everyone can have some fresh meat."
I gestured to the two blonde women before I took a step back and pointed at the house over my shoulder with my bare thumb.
"I know Hershel's undecided about how we do things but I figured a little extra freshness would help lighten the load for everyone."
Rick smiled.
"Sounds like a plan, try not to...clean whatever you catch close to here though."
"Wouldn't dream on it."

So, you and Daryl finally fucked huh?
I stuffed my last scrap of cloth up high into a tall bush and I heard Jay do the same maybe a football field's length away and I snorted; though it was getting dirty at this point, I'd taken to tying the white dress around one of my ankles with a thick cord so I'd have it when I changed back. I smelled hints of rain on the wind but other then a few walkers here and there we never found anything else. There were also hints of wild deer on the wind but we had a mission to do first.
So what if we did? Get out of my head.
Involuntary, remember? I feel what you feel no matter how gross it is.
I growled and pawed at the ground in annoyance, he had the nerve...
Yeah, yeah, yeah. Trust me when I say that I don't want to feel what you felt, it's like looking at someone you love living life with...well, not you. Shit blows.
I heard him coming closer to me and by the time I saw his brown fur my temper had eased up a bit, his ears were flat on his head and his nose felt chilled when he poked me in the side with it.
If this wasn't one of the effects of what we are then I wouldn't have a problem with it, I just worry that he might hurt you one day or something because he's just human.
I swatted at him with my tail before we seperated from one another until we were all alone and I began to smell the air for whiffs of deer; I caught the faint scent of deer musk from the west so I turned my body slowly in that direction and mentally sent him the smell.
I hope not, imprinting or not, that would be the last straw on dating for me. Head West.
I hopped over a muddy embankment and snapped my jaws at the walkers who were stuck in the ground there but kept going, despite how large I was I made sure my paws made zero noise.
You'd quit after dating just one person though? That's not giving yourself much of a chance..
Catching the trail on a herd of deer I flattened my ears to my skull and let my wolf body do its own thing on pure instinct, my thick muscles rolled under my fur and I was on top of the largest buck before I even blinked. Jay came across the now scattered herd and took down the next biggest deer by the time I snapped the neck of mine in my jaws, I then used my sharp nails to slice its neck open and again on its belly so the blood and intestines would soak out into the grass. I heard him doing the same thing but I kept looking around to make sure the coast was clear while our kills bled out.
Remember Jess?
Jess had been an intern at the CDC when we first got to work there that Jay had a crush on but the two never talked after she'd slept with him and started dating someone else we worked with, since then he hadn't talked to a woman in that way except me and I couldn't really blame him.
I try not to, and I wish you'd forget too. All I'm saying is that I'll still be here for you. Boyfriend, one night stand, or hell, even just fuck buddies. I'm not going to go anywhere.
I hear you, I hear you, alright? Let's just get these back to camp so we can have something to eat.

"Wow, look at that!"
After we got back to the farm we helped string the deer up by their legs in a tree for Jimmy to clean and some of the people came to see how big they were, Rick and Shane were some of the last ones to come back and the RV had been moved further back from the house so someone could watch; Andrea was currently on top of the thing with one of the high powered sniper rifles.
"Thanks, you two. Now we'll get to eat real food again."
Beth stepped up to help Jimmy when Andrea shouted and I heard the sound of her loading a bullet into the chamber of the gun.
"Walker, walker!"
Rick, Shan, and TDog were already running through the field beyond for whatever it was but from here I saw Andrea take aim and fire; I heard another yell and took off for them but the three men were already picking the thing up by the arms.
Why the hell....are they touching it if it's a walker?
Whatever the thing was, it was covered in so much grime and blood I could barely see its face; I vaulted over a low hanging barbed wire fence but Rick was shaking his head at me before I got too close just as Shane snapped something off from around its neck and stuffed it into his shirt.
"It's Daryl, I don't know what happened to him but he's not dead. He's got a wound on his left side and we need to get him up to the house before he gets worse."
I helped them get him over the fence and when we passed a panic striken Andrea on her way down to us I growled menacingly.
"You stay the hell away from him, you've done enough."
