Evelyn's POV

In the tranquil confines of the Cullens Household, another ordinary day unfolded.

"Remarkable restraint for a newborn,"  Jasper, commended Bella's remarkable display of restraint, noting her ability to resist the allure of my scent despite the challenges my presence posed.

"She's my sister..." Bella, wearied by her internal battles, confessed, "It wasn't without difficulty... but she does smell divine."

The Cullens' gazes turned to me, and I couldn't help but feel a pang of indignation.

"Stop scrutinizing me like I'm a dessert on display," I retorted, my pride stung, yet their laughter softened the tension.

Emmett, ever the jocular one, cast doubt on Bella's classification as a newborn. "She's too tame," he remarked with a scoff, unwittingly offending Bella.

Don't provoke her. She's the strongest among us." Edward, intervened, cautioning Emmett, "

Emmett, undeterred, proposed an arm wrestling match, his competitive spirit undiminished. With a flourish, he produced a substantial log, positioning it as an impromptu wrestling arena.

"Are you sure about this?" I questioned, concerned as I rose from the porch, observing their antics amused. "Don't overexert yourself, Emmett," Carlisle interjected worried.

With Jasper's countdown, the match commenced, the tension mounting as Bella and Emmett clasped hands in playful defiance.

"One, two, three!"

In a swift and decisive victory, Bella emerged triumphant, her laughter echoing through the air as she effortlessly shattered rocks with her punches.

"I--- Wow...." Amidst the laughter and camaraderie, a sense of foreboding gripped me.

For amidst the joviality, I couldn't shake the realization of witnessing my once delicate sister transform into an unstoppable force, a she-hulk of sorts, leaving me unnerved in her wake.

I descended the eager to escape the amused glances of my vampire family.

"Hey, where are you off to?" Bella's voice trailed after me, but before I could respond, Edward replied with a mischievous smirk, "She's off to meet Jacob."

Rolling my eyes, I shot Edward a playful middle finger before continuing on my way.

Arriving at my boyfriend's garage, I found him engrossed in his latest project, tinkering away at one of his beloved bikes. "How was it?" he asked, glancing up from his work as I settled onto the seat of the motorcycle.

I shook my head, a sense of weariness settling over me. "She was... exhilarated," I muttered, recalling Bella's newfound euphoria in her vampiric state.

"She spoke as though she'd found her true purpose as a vampire. Even the Volturi seemed to acknowledge her transformation without dispute."

Jacob paused, concern etched on his features as he reached for my leg. "And how do you feel about all of this?" he questioned softly, his touch sending a shiver down my spine.

Heat flooded my cheeks as his lips grazed my skin, igniting a blush. "I'm fine, as long as she's happy," I murmured, attempting to quell the fluttering sensation in my stomach.

But Jacob, ever the playful one, persisted, his kisses tracing a tantalizing path from my ankle to my thigh. Caught off guard by his boldness, I couldn't help but blush deeper, cursing inwardly at his teasing antics.

"Hey...! Can you stop that?!" I protested, my cheeks aflame with embarrassment as Jacob continued his teasing assault.

"Why...? I can see that you like it." His smirk only widened as he trailed his tongue up towards the hem of my skirt, causing a surge of heat to rush through me.
