The brunette stared at the ginger who was professionally doing his paper work while he was lying on the office couch. Chuuya had insisted in him doing the paper work for the first few days before the brunette took over again.

Protective much...

He was fully capable of doing standard work by himself after all. But he wasn't complaining, get paid and not do anything was most probably a dream for all. But looking at how tired the ginger made even Dazai guilty.

The brunette sighed which gained the ginger's attention, Chuuya immediately looking up and asking him if he was okay.

Unnecessarily worrying...

Must be nice to have someone worry about you so much that even a mere sigh can worry them. The brunette put up a sly smile and raised his arms, gesturing for the other to approach and the ginger was fast in standing up and leaving his seat, making his way to Dazai.

"You okay?" Chuuya asked, kneeling on the floor to be one the same level as the brunette who was lying on the couch.

The brunette's eyes narrowed as he sat up, wrapping him arms around the other's neck. The ginger raised a brow as he hesitantly wrapped his own arms around the younger. He seemed to finally understand the other's strange and sudden action as he raised from his knees and hugged the other.

"You like hugs now?"

The brunette gave no reply nor reaction to the question, only shifting his head to the side so he could place his chin on the other's crook of the neck. Chuuya smiled, the brunette seemed to have been more fond of touches of affection nowadays.

The ginger did hope that it was Dazai getting fond of him and not his touches only. After all, Chuuya doubted the brunette would believe him if he only said words of affection. He had no idea how to show his love to the other.

Like on cue, the brunette's mouth parted and Chuuya feels it against his skin as he shivered.

"You love me, Chuuya?"

The ginger seemed surprised at the question as he took a mere two seconds to process the question before he grabbed the brunette tighter as he nodded, " I do."

Dazai hummed, as if thinking whether what the ginger said was true or not.

Chuuya held his breath. He was already expecting the brunette to rip himself away and walk out of the office. Or for the brunette to shake his head and reject his feelings. He was in fact, not ready for anything the brunette was going to say or do. He will feel heartbroken nonetheless, he already felt slightly down when he heard the brunette hum and sigh before.

He needs to do more to show the other his worth and literal love for him. Searching the whole of Yokohama for him isn't enough. Saving him wasn't enough. Killing one of his executives for him wasn't enough.  Disregarding his past and ability is also not enough. Not selling him for 30 million isn't enough either.

He needed to do something above the normal standard, something so big that it'll show the brunette how much he cared. He'll leave the port mafia in Kouyou's hands, he'll do literally anything possible.

When did he get so obsessed? When did he get this attached to the other. It started off as Chuuya pitying the other and assigning him the task of his right hand man before feelings started to grow and he realised his liked the other. Did the other feel the same? Most likely not. He just dated Chuuya for money after all, like anyone other girl or man will if they had the luxury to date him.

That's why he had to do better. That's why he had to do more. He had to-

"I love you too Chuuya."
