As days passed, Chuuya couldn't help but noticed the cold demeanour he was giving Midori. From.not greeting her in the morning and even ignoring her throughout the day.

To the ginger, the green haired girl seemed to be an angel, always helping him and initiating to do tasks.

She liked talking to him as well when was rare since Kouyou was the only one who seemed to be able to talk to Chuuya without any issue or tense shoulders.

It was as of the brunette saw another side to Midori that he couldn't see but he decided to not out his mind on it. Maybe the brunette was just shy with girls or
maybe he just didn't like talking as much.

It wasn't interfering with their work either so it was fine. The ginger occasionally placed some hints or a lun or two to get the brunette tot all the other but to no avail.

Dazai would merely just nod and return to his non-existant work. If he was already done with hsi work, bell just mindless flup throught he whole file again. It was as if he would do anything instead of talk to the green haired girl.

Midori on the other hand just loved talking to Chuuya, doing all the lifting of papers to his executive's office. She even went the extra mile to grow to lunch with him, whole the brunette denied the offer and stayed in the office.

The ginger always wondered whether the brunette ate at all.

The last time they went for lunch together, he didn't see the brunette eat much anyway. Just drank water and a few of those complementary bread and that was all.

Judging on how things the other was, even before he joined the mafia, he most likely didn't have a proper diet.

The ginger did sometimes bring back food for the other who seemed grateful but he hardly saw the other touch it. Merely eating a bit before going back home with the takeaway bag.

He was quite thankful to see that the bag of food was not in one of the rubbish bins when he was walking out of the building.

The health of his right hand man was one of his priorities as well.

He has complained to Midori about this before and he raised a brow and was confused when Midori, instead of being concern like she usually is, she seemed frustrated and annoyed and he could even hear a few mumbled curse words before she returned back to her normal attitude.

Snapping out of his thoughts, the ginger couldn't help but glance at the brunette who noticed him staring and raised a brow.

Shaking his head subtly, the ginger then looked at the green haired girl who seemed to be engrossed in her own thoughts, not noticing the other's gaze.

The ginger sighed, both his surbodinates were air heads.

Standing up abruptly, the ginger looked at the both of them.

"You two are awkward as hell, get along before I get back. I'm going to meet Ane-san."

By now, after working a few weeks with the ginger as her boss, Midori soon caught on that Ane-san was Kouyou.

Midori immediately nodded while Dazai pretended to ignore the ginger's order.

The green haired girl glanced at the brunette.

"Much as I would like to respect your decision, you have to talk to me so that we can show Nakahara-san we're getting along."

The brunette hummed, ignoring the other completely, "It's boss. Get that in your head."

Midori hummed proudly, "Nakahra-san allowed me to call him that. You can continue calling him Boss if you want."

The brunette rolled his eyes, this girl was not only annoying but she was arrogant.

Dazai sighed, he should get rid of her before she gives any future problems to him. He still has a debt to pay and its not getting any easier either with Midori getting in the way.

He suspected that Midori was most likely sent by someone else to get him kicked out of the mafia. Too bad to them, he wasn't budging.

Midori grit her teeth as she exhaled out.

Time for plan B.
