FANFICTION / Hemlock Grove
This story I actually wrote before I wrote the other one but I thought I'd share this with you too😊
A young girl called Lilly movies in to the town Hemlock Grove little does she know that her life is about to turn upside...
Moments had past and Lilly and Roman were now sat in the car. Roman had a first aid box on the back seat and he reached for it from the driver's seat. "Here clean yourself up". Said Roman as he tried not to resist the temptation of looking at the blood trickling down her knees as his heart rate seemed to increase for some reason. It began to rain again as Roman watched the rain drizzle drip down the window on his side of the car as Lilly zipped opened the first aid kit, firstly getting out an anti-septic wipe. "Ow, ow" she cried as she began to wipe her knees. "Allow me" said Roman as he decided to reach for her hand that held the wipe. "It hurts" said Lilly as Roman wiped away the remaining fragments of blood. "Sorry he said as he placed the wipe in his pocket and got out two plasters and placed them on her knees. "Thanks" said Lilly as Roman put his thumb to his mouth sucking off the remaining blood that somehow appeared on his finger. "You're so weird, but I like it" she said as a joke. Roman then switched on the ignition in the car, turning the key as the two put on their seat belts. Roman clenched the steering wheel and began to set off.

Lilly looked out of the window. She could lots of people going into the shops rushing to get in from the rain. Surprising she saw and man in a green t-shirt running in the rain. The car then approached a red light. As Roman applied the break he took a breath and quickly placed his eyes on Lilly. "Would you like to go, straight to mine or do something else?" asked Roman as the lights then turned green as Lilly looked at Roman with confusion. Lilly had the thought in her head of "Is he really asking me on a date?" As the town began to disappear, Roman began driving down a country road. The trees were swaying in the wind and autumn leaves were blowing everywhere. "I am a little bit hungry." Said Lilly. Roman smiled whilst he changed down a gear in his car because of reaching another set of traffic lights. Lilly recognised the crossroads. Turning left would be heading towards the supermarket, straight ahead would be heading home, and turning right would be heading towards a retail park that had a variety of shops and restaurants. As the light changed green Roman then indicated right. "Isn't home straight on" asked Lilly as Roman switched off the signal as he turned into the road. "You said you were hungry right?" said Roman. "Yes "said Lilly. "So, you need to eat then, I didn't see you eat much at lunch." Roman said with concern.
They reached the retail park and found a place to park. Roman applied the break and switched of the engine as he noticed Lilly did not have a coat. "Here take this." As he reached for his jacket on the backseat. "Thanks" said Lilly as the two began to emerge from the car. Lilly had never been to this location before she saw lots of restaurants. "Where are we going?" asked Lilly. "My favourite restaurant" he said with a smile. He used to go all the time with his mother and sister.
The two arrived at the restaurant as a waiter approached them. "Table for two, please." Said Roman. "Of course, "replied the waiter as she showed them to a table. The table was laid out so beautifully, it had a white tablecloth with red napkins along with the silver polished cutlery. The drinks menu at in the middle of the table and a food menu sat Infront of both. "Can I get you both a drink" asked the waiter as he stood there with his notepad and pen. "Just sparkling water, please" said Roman. The waiter wrote down the request and looked at Lilly. "And you madam" addressed the waiter. "Just, a lemonade with no ice." Said Lilly as she began looking down at the food menu deciding what she wanted to eat. "Could we get a jug of water, as well, please?" asked Roman. "Of course, I'll be back in a moment," said the waiter. Roman had already decided what he was going to eat as he was already familiar with the menu. Roman looked over at Lilly who was still looking beautifully down at the menu. "What are you going for?" asked Roman. "What's the smothered chicken like?" she asked Roman. "It's good" replied Roman. "Ok, I'll have that then," said Lilly. "Good choice, that's my mother's go to. "Responded Roman.
