PUDDLE OF BLOOD CHAPTER 28

Back at Romans house Lilly and the woman were still arguing and Lilly felt a fiery, angry feeling flow though her veins. "What is the code?" asked Lilly curiously in a harsh mood. The Woman just looked at Lilly and shrug her shoulders hinting she was unsure, "I'll ask you again, what is the code as she drew nearer to the woman. Lilly could now feel the blood running through the woman's veins. "I don't know" asked the woman as she spoke with nervous words. "Liar!" shouted Lilly as she pushed the woman against the wall next to the keypad. "Enter the code!" demanded Lilly as let go of the woman who now stood beside the keypad, +she entered the code but it was the incorrect code. "Don't play games with me, Bitch!" as the woman shivered with nervousness. "I don't know it; I can't remember it" said the woman as she walked away from the keypad. "Your stupid old hag!" she shouted as pushed the woman meaning to push her to the ground, but she tripped over a stool and then tumbled down the stairs. "Oh my god!" shouted Lilly as she sprinted down the stairs to where the woman's body lay.

It appeared that she was still alive but unconscious. The beat of her heart was slowing down, and she could still feel her pulse. "Wake up" begged Lilly as she shook the woman like the wind, but she did not wake up. Lilly tapped her cheeks as she continued to speak. "Please! Wake up! I'm sorry." She said as she lay on her chest and thought to herself. "Oh shit! Roman is going to be absolutely furious with me, he's never going to forgive me" when she then noticed the blood on her hands.

The woman still lay almost lifeless on the floor and Lilly knew her life now sat in her own hands when Lilly reached for the phone and started dialling the number for an ambulance when halfway through the process, she then got a Wiff of the woman's blood throw her nose as there now was a puddle of blood surrounding the body. "Help me" said the woman who seemed to be trying to wake up. To Lilly the smell of blood felt so good that she could almost taste it and she wanted to taste it. She erased the number and chucked the phone on to the couch.

Lilly was now knelt in the puddle of blood besides the woman's body as she opened her eyes. "I'm so sorry" said Lilly as she cried biting into her neck and withdrawing every drop out of her lifeless paper-thin body when she suddenly pulled away from the body realising what she had done. "Oh, shit have I just killed someone?" She started to vomit when then Roman and Peter had entered the house with disgust on their face. "Holy Cow, what happened here? "Peter asked as Lilly was now curling up in a ball sobbing. "I didn't mean to kill her" cried Lilly as Roman bent down to her and put his hand on her shoulder. "Roman, she fell, I tried to help her, then I noticed the blood on my hands, and I couldn't help myself" fluttered the cries from her mouth as Roman then picked her up off the ground and hugged her whilst he carried her to the kitchen and balanced her on the kitchen top wiping her tears away. "Lilly, look at me, it's ok, I understand. "He said stroking his fingers through her hair. "She wasn't meant to die, I just wanted to see my son" mentioned Lilly. "Is that what all this was about?" asked Roman as he began rubbing off the fragments of blood that still lingered on her face. "Lilly babe, listen to me all you had to do was call me and I had to do what was right to protect our son" explained Roman as he carried Lilly up the stairs leaving Peter sat on the couch. "What do you mean?" asked Lilly with confusion as Roman placed Lilly in the bath and started undressing her, "What you don't remember?" questioned Roman as he turned on the shower and checked the temperature. "Remember what?" said Lilly as she closed her eyes as Roman held the shower head over her head. "You don't remember do you, listen babe, don't freak out" he said as he turned off the shower as all the remaining blood had left Lillys skin. "What is it Roman?" she asked as Roman wrapped a towel around her and carried her into the bedroom. "You tried to attack Oswald." Said Roman as he placed Lilly onto the bed, and he sat next to her. "Oh my god Roman, I don't remember, I'm sorry" she said as she flung herself into his chest and for the first time in months, she kissed him and Roman kissed her back. The kiss lasted for a long moment in time when their lips separated. "Peter is downstairs with the dead corps, and I need to check on Oswald" explained Roman as he stood up and passed Lilly an outfit of hers and one of his favourite jackets that Lilly liked to wear. "Now get dressed, I love you" he said Roman as he walked out of his bedroom meaning his words that escaped his mouth. He hadn't felt the way he felt since the first day he meet Lilly it was like a new beginning a new light at the end of the tunnel maybe he still did love her after all, and he should never have broken up with her in the first place.
