A couple of months had passed Roman was now seventeen he was the oldest student in the school he also and he had a job where he worked evenings and some Saturdays and Sundays. Everyday Roman continued to drive Lilly backwards and forwards from school.

They spent so much time together even at the weekend. On Friday nights they went to the fancy restaurant and Saturdays she would have a games night with Romans family, she didn't spend much time at home anymore, she would pop in every now and then to see Daisy who was now three years old. But she would spend the night every Sunday and then Roman would ring the doorbell 7:30 on the dot each Monday morning. There was now only three weeks left of school and it was almost her birthday. Exams were over and all everyone spoke about was prom.

One Monday morning something was very odd. It was already 7:35 and Roman had not yet rang the doorbell and there weren't even any new messages on her phone. "Mum, have you seen Roman, this morning? asked Lilly with concern. "No, I haven't" said Emma in response. Lilly began putting on her shoes and she picked up her bag and stepped outside. Roman's car wasn't there it hadn't been there since yesterday morning.

She walked over to the Godfreys place and rang the bell and waited for a response. There was no response, so she remembered that Olivia kept a spare key under one of the flowerpots that sat beside the door she discovered the key and placed it in the lock. Lilly turned the key and opened the door to find the place was silent. "Roman?" she called up the stairs. "We're going to be late for school" she said as she burst into his room finding him not asleep in this bed. "She thought to herself" maybe Roman and Shelly are at school already thought Lilly as she dialled a number for a taxi.

Lilly arrived at school and hour latter. She had missed her English class, so it was time for her to go to her science class which she looked forwards to as she shared that class with him. She entered the room to find his and Peters chairs was empty. Lilly sat next to Roman's empty chair and got out her belongings.

The lesson seemed to go on forever as Lilly couldn't help but look at the clock on the wall as she wondered where Roman might be. Lilly was aware that Roman was having some issues at home with his mother Olivia and she was aware he was stressed with work even though he never seemed to talk about work as he always stated that his work was private.

Finally, the break bell rang as she headed to the spot where Roman first ever took her thinking he might be their smoking a cigarette like he tends to do. Lilly arrived at the shed and Roman was no where to be seen. Lilly sat on the log and looked up at the window as her heart raised, she pictured Roman standing there and smoking a cigarette like he does, and she pictured him smiling back at her with him then putting out his cigarette and putting his arms around her. It had appeared that Lilly had fainted as she was discovered on the floor. "Lilly" called a voice as she woke up and opened her eyes and she noticed she had been lying in broken glass she had a small cut on her head and a cut on her arm. "Lilly" said the voice. Lilly then looked up to find Peter standing at her feet. "Peter" said Lilly with confusion. "Come on let's take you to the first aid room and get you cleaned up," said Peter as he helped Lilly off the ground. "Where's Roman?" asked Lilly. "I'll take you to him when, you're all cleaned up" said Peter.

Lilly was now sat in the first aid room with Peter and the school nurse. The school nurse began to clean Lillys cut. "These are some nasty cuts you got here" said the nurse as she put a bandage on her arm. "I think I passed out," said Lilly. The nurse looked at her and stroked her on the head. "It happens, sometimes you'll be ok" assured the nurse. "Thankyou" said Peter as the two left the first aid room.

Lilly and Peter were now in a taxi as Peter didn't not yet have his licence. "Where are we going?" asked Lilly. "We are going to where Roman works" replied Peter. Lilly sat looking out of the window as she then turned to Peter. "Roman said I'm not allowed to go to his workplace" gasped Lilly as the taxi arrived at the location. "Lilly, Roman isn't in a good way right now "he said as he helped Lilly out of the car. Peter and Lilly stood outside Roman's place of work. Lilly saw that it was a tall white building with a big silver sign that said "Godfrey Industries. Parked outside were a few cars including Roman's convertible.
