THE MAN CHAPTER 36

Back at Lilly's old house all was silent, until there was a knock on the door, but of course no one replied. Lilly was living happily with Roman and their son Oswald, Emma was now dead, and Daisy was placed up for adoption, so the house remained empty. The man who stood outside was not aware of any of this he had a big brown suitcase, and he wore a long coat with big black boots when, Peter was passing by and noticed him waiting on the doorstep. "Can, I help you?" asked Peter as he approached the house. I'm looking for my daughter as he looked at Peter. "Daughter, what's her name asked" Peter as the man walked closer towards him wheeling his suitcase behind him. "Lilith, but you probably know her as Lilly" explained the man as Peter took a breath and had a think about what to say next. "She doesn't live here, anymore" explained Peter as the man grew nearer towards Peter. "Then where is she?" questioned the man as Peter didn't want to disclose their location. "I don't know" lied Peter he said as his body started to shiver. "I think your lying!" said the man as he pushed him to the ground. "I can't say "explained Peter as the man then went to attack him but Peter was far too quick for him as he ran off down the road as quick as he could.

Meanwhile, Shelly was now giving Oswald his lunch as it was now 1:00 in the afternoon when there was a knock at the door. Shelly could see through the translucent glass that it was Peter who appeared to be standing on the porch seemingly out of breath. Shelly put down the spoon that she was using to feed, baby Oswald as she opened the door even though, Roman had told her not to let anyone in the house, but she thought what harm it would do letting him in. "Hi, Peter" greeted Shelly as she let him into the house closing and locking the door behind him and locking it. "Where's Roman?" asked Peter with worry. "He's out with, Lilly at the moment they should be back soon." Explained Shelly as Roman's car pulled up onto the driveway. Shelly could see Roman and Lilly getting out of the car through the translucent glass window, and she noticed that there were spots of blood on them.

Roman and Lilly entered the house to find, Shelly, Peter and Oswald sitting on the sofa. "I thought, I said not to let anyone in" said Roman as he looked at Shelly with a disappointed look. "Sorry, I thought Peter would be an acceptation explained Shelly as Roman picked up Oswald from the sofa and held him in his arms as he turned his focus to Peter. "What, do you want?" Roman asked with a face filled with confusion. "There was a man, standing outside of Lilly's old house" Explained Peter and he told me he was looking for his daughter as Peter looked at Lilly. "My father?" questioned Lilly as her head sunk into her hands as Roman rubbed her on the back. "You didn't tell, him where we live did you Peter?" said Roman as he put Oswald down in his baby bouncer which him and Lilly brought online the other night. Peter looked at Lilly who appeared to be frightened by the news. "Peter! Did you tell him?" as Roman started walking towards Peter in an angry tone. "    No, but I think he might have followed me" he replied as Roman grabbed his neck and held him against the wall when Lillys attention was alerted as she didn't like seeing Roman behave in the way he was. "Roman, stop it" she begged as Roman put him down and walked towards Lilly giving her a hug. "I'm sorry" Roman said as he kissed her forehead. "Peter, my father is apparently dangerous" explained Lilly as Peter gasped at put his hands on his head. "I know, he just tried to kill me." Explained Peter as he walked towards Lilly and Roman. "Roman, what are we going to do?" asked Lilly as she hugged Roman tightly as then the man started to approach. "Lilly, Shelly goes, take Oswald, upstairs me and Peter will handle this." Explained Roman as Lilly carried Oswald up the stairs as Shelly followed behind, they went to the nursery as it was the safest place in the house because of the secured door.

Roman now stood on the porch as he watched the man get closer to the house. "Can, I help you?" said Roman as he took a cigarette out of his coat pocket and lighted it with his lighter. "Who are you?" asked the man as he looked at Roman, "never mind that the question is who are you" asked Roman. "My name is Fredrick Rose and I'm here for my daughter." He said as he stepped forwards. "You're not getting your hands anywhere near her" explained Roman as the man went to throw in a punch but Roman grabbed, Fredricks hand and crushed it as it started to bleed. "Ah you son of a bitch." Shouted Fredrick as he held his hand as Peter came out on to the porch with a cloth and threw it at him.

The moon was now almost full, and Peter's body was all aching as Roman looked at him and knew what was going to occur within the next half an hour. "What do you want with her!" snapped Roman as the man held the cloth around his bleeding hand. "She is the devils child." Said the man as Peter piped up. "So, what!" he shouted. Roman looked at Peter then looked at the man. "She is the most beautiful woman I have ever met and that is never going to change" said Roman when a voice was heard behind them.

Lilly had come out of the house and on to the porch. "I told you, to stay upstairs" gasped Roman as Lilly hugged Roman and then looked him in the eyes. "I know, he's my father, I thought I'd ask him some questions." She said as Roman pulled Lilly into his chest protecting her. "Hi Lilith," said the man. "It's Lilly" She replied as the man drew closer to her and Roman. "Stay back" Roman said. "What happened to my mother?" Lilly asked as she looked at her father. "She died after the pregnancy, mysteriously." He responded. "So, she died after the birth then" said Peter as he looked at Roman. "You piece of shit, you killed her, didn't you? and when your plan didn't workout you caused Emma to hide her away." Suggested Roman as Fredrick burst into laughter. "Now I have found Lilith, I can get rid of her to" he said as Roman held his love tightly too his chest. "Leave her alone!" snapped Roman as Peter started to change. "What the hell is going on." Asked Fredrick as Peter was now beginning to change into his wolf form and then he started chasing Fredric away.
