NEW BEGINNING CHAPTER 25

Roman and Lilly and Oswald were now in a different room and Peter had now gone home and Price had some work to complete. Lilly had a bed and Oswald had a little bed that sat next to her as he was now able to be out of the incubator, Roman just sat on a chair next to the bed reading a newspaper. "What was you going to tell me earlier?" asked Lilly as Roman looked at her and put down his newspaper. "It's a long story" explained Roman. "We got plenty of time so tell it" asked Lilly. "My mother is a Upir" explained Roman as he held Lillys hand. "A what?" asked Lilly with confusion as Roman continued to talk. "A Upir is like a vampire that can walk in daylight" explained Roman as Lilly still sat listening. "My father was human so that made me only half human Lilly" said Roman as Lilly reached for Oswald and held him to her chest. "That's pretty cool that your half human," said Lilly. "I'm not anymore "explained Roman with a lower tone. "What?" said Lilly. "That's why I left you because I was afraid of hurting you" said Roman as Lilly rocked Oswald to sleep. "Have you ever killed anyone, before?" asked Lilly as Roman remained silent for a moment. "I have" said Roman as he pulled out a cigarette from his packet of fags that were in his pocket, and he placed it behind his ear. "What?" said Lilly as a tear dropped from her eye. "Lilly look I just couldn't help myself at the time I couldn't control myself which is why I dumped you but I shouldn't have" said Roman as Lilly continued to cry. "You have killed people Roman" she said. "You'll understand soon enough" said Roman in a rude way as Lilly put Oswald back into his bed. "What is that supposed to mean?" she asked with a lot of confusion. "Lilly you were born like me, your father was an Upir and your mother was human and when she had you she didn't know that your father was an Upir and that's why she died not long after your birth" explained Roman as he stroked Lilly's hair. "Get off! I don't want to be touched right now" she said as Roman continued the conversation. "When you gave birth there was a slim chance you were going to survive, but your Upir side saved you" said Roman as he drove closer to Lilly. "I'm like you now?" she asked with confusion as she pulled her hair that on her face as Roman lent down to kiss her. "Roman! Don't touch me, I still don't trust you" she paused as Roman backed away to the end of the bed as she continued to speak. "You hurt me, you left me, and you knew all this, and you didn't tell me." Said Lilly as Roman brushed his fingers through his hair with nerves "I'm sorry, I was afraid, and I was scared of losing you" said Roman as he placed his hands on the end of the bed. "I thought I was dead for one moment everything, around me seemed to disappear and I felt numb for once and everything went away" said Lilly as Roman then took his hands off the bed and headed towards the door as he was uncertain on how to respond to Lilly's puddle of speech. All Roman knew that Lilly was emotional not well after almost losing grasp of her life. Roman felt anger streaming through his veins but deep down he really cared for Lilly and was happy she was alive despite everything that had happened previous. "Everything is going to be ok, but you need me to help you though the changes" explained Roman as he exited the door to go outside, and smoke is cigarette which was still lurking behind his ear.
