THE OUTTING CHAPTER 32

Roman and Lilly were now downstairs with Oswald having Lunch. Roman was stood at the cooker frying smoky bacon whilst Lilly stood by Oswald sitting in his highchair feeding him a pot of baby food. It was a pot of blended carrot, potato, and chicken. Roman was dishing up lunch by making up some bacon sandwiches when he had a thought. "Lilly, I was thinking, why don't me and you take Oswald to the park." he asked as he sat down at the table with Lilly giving her lunch to her. "That sounds like a lovely idea, I could show you the park me and Shelly used to take him to" suggested Lilly. The two finished their lunch and then got ready for the outing.

Lilly was packing a bag to take with them whilst Roman stood upstairs in the bathroom combing his hair when his phone rang. It was an unknown number "Hello, who's speaking?" Roman spoke down the phone with confusion. "Hello, my darling it's mum" Roman put down his comb and looked at himself in the mirror. "What the fuck do you, want?" snapped Roman as he started to walk out of the bathroom and down the hall. "Me and Emma are dying to meet our gran son." Roman paused his steps and lent against the wall. "I don't think so!" Roman said in a harsh tone. "Why not my darling" his mother said on the phone. "Last time you saw him, you were going to kill him, and Emma isn't even Lilly's mother." Snapped Roman again as Lilly shouted to Roman up the stairs. "Roman, are you ready?" she said as her and Oswald was ready to go, he was sat in his car seat. "Goodbye mother" said Roman as he hung up the phone and walked downstairs to Lilly and wrapped his arms around her. "What did she want?" asked Lilly as Roman picked up the car seat. "She's just trying to worm herself back into our lives" he said to Lilly as he unlocked his car and placed Oswald inside the car and secured the car seat. The two then got into the car and headed towards the park. Lilly felt so excited because it was the first time that Roman wanted to do something together as a family. He was so anxious about taking Lilly out before because of his mother.

They arrived at the location, and it seemed peaceful there was no other children on the park. "Perfect" said Roman as he opened the gate to enter the park. The park consisted of two baby swings, two child swings, a small silver and yellow slide, a big green slide which had a climbing frame connected to it and there was also a roundabout that was red. "Let's take him to the swings, he loves the swings" she said to Roman in an excited voice as they walked towards them and Roman took Oswald out of the car seat and placed him in the seat when Lilly then had a call on her phone, it was Shelly. Roman started pushing Oswald on the swing as Lilly took the call. "Hi Shelly, how are you?" asked Lilly as Roman looked at her and smiled. "I'm good Shelly, me and Roman are back together." Spoke Lilly with a positive tone. "That's amazing" responded Shelly. "Hi Sis" said Roman as he took the phone from Lilly hinting her to take over pushing Oswald on the swing. "Roman, I've missed you so much" explained Shelly. "We're at the park if you want to join us?" Roman said as Shelly then noticed her mother listening to the conversation as she walked out of the room. "I can't today" said Shelly as she heard the front door slammed indicating that Olivia had left the house to go somewhere. "I need to go now sis, I love you" said Roman as he looked at Lilly who was now carrying Oswald in her arms. "Bye Roman" said Shelly as she hung up the phone.

Over at Emma's house Olivia was sat on the sofa having a coffee with Emma. The two were having a conversation when Olivia had a thought. "Emma we both want to see our grandson, right?" Emma lent forwards and looked at Olivia. "What are you thinking" Emma asked, as she took a drink from her cup of Coffee. "We're going to take him" explained Olivia. "That is a ridiculous Idea, we don't even know where they live." Replied Emma when Olivia put down her empty cup on the table. "They are currently at the park." Said Olivia as then Emma stood up. "Come on let's go" Urged Emma. "Not me, you," said Olivia. Emma looked at Olivia with confusion. "If I go near, the baby Roman will kill me, it must be you" persuaded Olivia. "You're telling me to kidnap our own grandson?" Asked Emma with concern. "Don't worry, we will return him when, we have spent time with him. Now do you want to see our Grandson or not?" Manipulated Olivia as Emma got ready to leave. "I really don't like this." She mentioned as she opened the door and headed towards her knew car as she passed her test last week. "Here you're going to need this" said Olivia as she gave Emma the car seat which she had previously brought for the new baby.
