ANDREI's POV
It is too late. I'm late! My driver drives like a hawk yet we never make it! Damn!
"Sir, kakaalis lang daw po ng mga nag-demolisyon isang oras na ang nakakaraan." My driver, Mang Damian said to me.
I spread my eyes to the place. See what did Susana do to these poor people of Sangang daan. More than 5000 homes were destroyed. Thousand of families are now homeless and hopeless. I can see people's sorrow, anger and hurts. I tried to search for anyone that is not wounded but it seems that i can never find one!
Childrens are crying all over the places. Calling for their parents. Men are trying to save even a wood and see if it has a worth. I can see the worried women from nearby. This incident should not be happen. This is too much.
"Mang Damian, tumawag na po ba kayo tulong?" I asked my driver.
"Yes, Sir. May mga nauna na pong ambulansiyang dumating kanina at dinala ang mga sugatan sa mga malalapit na hospital."
I grab my phone and dial for few people.
"Grego, call Matthew and Xander. I need your help!" They are my best buddies.
Among of us Grego is the only one who stays in the Philippines for living. Mattew Grey is always busy for for our merging company the VGRM Empire. While Xander Rostovs has always on his business trip.
Im lucky, we are all in same country at this time. And a matter of time these three men are all in front of me.
"My god, Drei, what happened?" Xander exclaimed. Like me, he felt sorry for those people.
"Andrei, I think you should go to the hospitals with Matthew. It is not a good idea if these people would notice that you are Montinez." Its Grego
"He's right, dude, unless gusto mo na mamatay." Xander adds. He tap my shoulder, "sige na, dude, kami na ni Ego ang bahala dito."
"Let's Go, Drei." Mattew pulled me up. "Mang Damian, ako na po bahala kay Drei, pakitulungan na lang po sila sa mga tao kapag pinagbabato sila."
I gave Matthew deadly look. This isn't a time for kinky jokes of him.
He raised his hands for surendering, "Relax, dude!"
We take Matthew's pick-up and headed to hospitals. I hope no one died in this incident because if does, I'm going to wreck Susana's neck in my own hand!
San Nicolas Hospital.
"Here we go. This is the fourth hospital." Matthew narrated. "I can't believe you didn't know any bit about this."
My prayer didn't answered. Eight person has been dead from demolitions, two of them are children. How sorry i felt for the victim's family. My heart wants to burst from guilt and anger.
We hitch out from the car. "I swear, Matt i never know."
"Yeah, I know you saying the thruth. I know your kind. If we'll put blame on this, still it was you, Andrei. And gives the best credits to your step-mama. Damn, she's pretty good from hiding like this!"
"I'll make sure she's gonna pay for this."
"Sure she is."
We step to the hospital. And like the first three hospital. We hurriedly proceed to the information area.
"May mga tao bang taga Sangang daan ang dinala dito?" I asked.
The nurse take seconds before she answered. Obviously he was fascinated by our charm. "M-meron po, sir." Inipit pa nang nurse ang ilang hibla ng buhok sa kanang tenga at ngumiti.
"May kangiti ngiti ba sa tinatanong ko?" I cant help it, damn! Buhay ang tinatanong ko bakit nakukuha pa nila magkipag landian!
"S-sir--" halatang napahiya ang Nurse.
"Ahm, Nurse, my bud is trying to ask if may nasawi ba sa demolisyon at dinala dito."
"Opo, meron po. Si..." She immediately look to the files "Si Sebastian Elises po, 73 years old po."
I can feel my jaw grinning for this information. Damn you, Susana!
"Nurse, lahat ng pasyente ng demolisyon, Give them the best medication and we will shoulder the payment." I gave my creditcard to the nurse.
"Mam, hindi pa po kayo pwede tumayo. Mahina pa po kayo."
I heard arguments coming out from emergency room.
"Hindi na po, Nurse. Okei na po ako. Wala po ako pambayad dito." I saw girl trying to walk straight. Pero halata din naman na may iniinda pa itong sakit.
"Pero, mam, susweruhan pa po kayo." Giit ng isa sa dalawang nurse na nagtatangkang pumigil dito.
Kinumpas nito kanyang mga kamay at braso, there are brusies on it. "Naku hindi na po kailangan. Wala po ako pambayad, yung lolo ko. Yung lolo ko lang po asikasuhin nyo."
"Who is she?" Mattew asked the nurse from information.
"Sir, apo siya nung namatay from demolisyon."
From what I heard, i walk towards the girl who insisted not take any medication. "Excuse me, miss?"
The two Nurses, stop and amazingly look at me. Then, the girl no--the lady, no--an angel slowly turns her face on me.
Is she really an angel?
