14) Absolute Power

Mirabel POV

I actually scream in full agony, as my entire body tightens in every part, going through my muscle and veins. It all feels like I am being burned from the inside, however, this isn't the only problem. The ground is shaking, the sky through the window as changed colors and the familiar sounds of a Mergequakes roars through the Monastery.

''Miss Phoenix.'' Scream Mr. Frohicky somewhere out in the hallway, followed by some stuff falling or getting destroyed, but I don't care right now. What I do care, is that my hands turns grey, no hint of its usual sunny color. I am truly at my breaking point and if the others aren't here, then who is gonna stop the Mergequake.

''Frohicky.'' I struggle to call out and fumble on my steps out of my room, crashing into the wall before it.

''Miss Phoenix, the sky is bleeding. A massive rift is drawn on the sky.'' Call out Mr. Frohicky coming around the corner, before gasping at my miserable appearance. ''Are you...''

''Not fine, but don't touch me.'' I quickly warn him and lean myself to the wall, to stand up and run for the way out to the courtyard. I have to use my weight to open the doors wide open, to then look up into the sky to look straight into a Mergequake, a big one. ''Th-The others... ain't here y-yet?''

''N-N-No. Haven't heard from them either, o-or Mr. Zane.'' Answer Mr. Frohicky from the door, staying a good distance away from me.

''Th-Then it is up *Gulp* to me.'' I slightly huff out and tries to find a good footing so I can stand on my own. I raise my arms up and tries to sends as much power I have within me to close the Mergequake before it becomes worse. But it is like mending a broken pipe, with a massive amount of water being sprayed out of the open rift.

''Miss Phoenix, you need to seek shelter. It is too dangerous.'' Yell out Mr. Frohicky, concerned for my well being for sure, but I can't let it grow any further, not just for my well being, but for all of the Merge Realms. If I stop, then maybe this Mergequake will make the tipping point for the End of World thing Zane predicted. 

''I... I can't... do it.'' I moan in pain, trying to fighting it and keep going, but I feel my energy and powers drain drastically for every second I spent.

''HEADS UP.'' Yell out a voice from above, as a dragon roar reaches my ear. The voice brought me hope and the sight of fire blasting at the Mergequake brought peace inside of me.

''Kai... Wyldfyre.'' I gasp, letting my arms drop down and let the two fire people work on the Mergequake for me.

''Ha ha, they are back.'' Cheered Mr. Frohicky and point out to the distance, where a massive flying ship is heading closer to us. The Destiny Bounty.

''Lloyd and Arin is back.'' I whisper in relief and see a beam of green fixing the Mergequake, and then a white beam appears too. ''And Zane. They found him... Thank goodness.'' With the combined power of four Elemental Power, closes the Mergequake without a problem and I can instantly feel myself being able to breath again, although I am sweating like crazy and can still feel where the pain was.

''That was too close.'' Shout out Lloyd and jump off the Bounty to instantly check up on me, but I take a step back, not risking harming him. The dead flowers in the courtyard pond is enough answer to me, for being too dangerous to be near. ''Are you alright?''

''I am now.'' I whisper to him and let myself fall, no longer having strength to stand up. Not even enough to stay awake.

''Mirabel.''

3rd POV

Mirabel's body swayed from side to side and fall down to the ground, if not for Zane to cover the ground with a massive amount of snow to soften her landing. Lloyd tries to reach out for her, to make sure there isn't any injuries, but Zane makes a small ice wall to keep him away.
