25) Spell and training

3rd POV

Zane's eyes widen at the sight of two Wolf Mask Warriors running through the portal gate, which has recently open up out of the blue after multiple attempts to open it. The two empowered Wolf Mask Warriors lunge directly at Cole and Zane, who quickly steps up to fight them back with their Spinjitzu. Mr. Frohicky and the Finders quickly finds a spot to hide and watch the fight behind some barrels and crates. Zane and Cole continue pushing the empowered Wolf Mask back toward the portal gate, believing that if they push them back in and close it, can they prevent the others from entering the Monastery. But what they didn't know, was that a golden light emerges from nowhere and flies over Mr. Frohicky and the Finders and goes straight towards the center piece of the Portal Gate. But the Ninja doesn't notice it, as they together kick back the Wolf Warrior's back into the Portal Gate, still standing strong to block from entering the Dragon Stable. Luckily, starts the gate to close on its own, keeping the enemy out for good.

''*Sigh* Way to shut the portal down.'' Sigh Cole in relief, finally finding a moment to breath and relax. 

''I did not do that.'' Point out Zane honestly, a little confused on how the doors even closed. ''Perplexing. Almost as perplexing as Lord Ras Wolf Mask fighters chasing you.''

''You know who they are?'' Ask Cole shocked, but at the same time relieved that he might get some inside scoop about those weirds enemy. 

''I do, but let's talk about this upstairs.'' Suggest Zane to talk about this somewhere else. Cole nods to the idea and call out for the Finders to follow after them. Mr. Frohicky immediantly go right away to make some snacks and prepare some beverage for the new guest to the Monastery. The kids seems a little excited for that, while the adults talk among themselves to exchange information in the living room. 

''Wait, so this Lord Ras guy took over Cloud Kingdom?'' Repeat Cole quite shocked to hear who is responsible for the Cloud Kingdom to attack the Land of Lost Things. ''Well I don't think he is gonna stop chasing us until he gets Bonzle here. We need to find a way to protect her.''

''I agree. But it would help us to know how to protect her if we knew why Ras wanted her so badly.'' Point out Zane a bit curious of the skeleton lady, who fiddle with her claw hands.

''Yeah... about that.'' Mutter Bonzle out loud, still scared and hesitant. ''I guess Ras could be after me because of my secret.''

''What secret?'' Ask Geo confused.

''That I am not really a person. I am actually an extremely powerful ancient spell capable of banishing ultimate evil, but I have taken on the form of a physical being.'' Inform Bonzle and let it all out in one go. That surprises the three, very much.

''So... You are not a person. You are a magical spell?'' Repeat Cole shocked, trying to see if he understands what Bonzle is talking about.

''Yep, who took physical form.'' Answer Bonzle simply, shrugging her shoulders lightly.

''Wait, is that how you knew the magic holding us in the Land of Lost Things was gone?'' Ask Geo confused, remembering how Bonzle simply said that they could leave.

''Yep. Spells, even ones that look like flesh and bone... or just bone, can sense other spells. Right before Ras came, it just disappeared.'' Explain Bonzle, trying to be a little reasonable.

''Why didn't you tell us any of this before?'' Ask Cole.

''I... I was afraid of what you would think if you knew about my past.'' Answer Bonzle to that, showing her true emotion of fear and loneliness. 

''It seems the lives of everyone in the Merged Realms are now at risk. You need to tell us the truth, Bonzle.'' Reason Zane calmly, still holding on to the frog plushy from Mr. Frohicky. Bonzle stiffen a little for a second before she dash to the side to bring back a shadow play box.
