13) Administration

3rd POV

Mirabel couched loudly, struggling to breath as she forces her way down the Monastery to the Living Room, to enter the elevator in search for Zane. She needs some help gaining more energy from the plants around her, and she fears she might harm Mr. Frohicky by taking his life force, so she needed the Nindroids help, but he wasn't anywhere in the Monastery, so Mirabel went for the dragon stables, where the Portal Gate is located.

''Zane? I need your help.'' Call out Mirabel, struggling very hard to stand on her feet. The dragons that remained home, look up from their chosen stables and look at the sick person. One of the Ice Dragons jump down to help Mirabel stand.

''*Snarl*'' Hum the Ice Dragon slightly, talking telepathic to the girl.

''What? He was taken away? By whom?'' Ask Mirabel concerned for her friend and find the strength within to run for the steps to the Portal Gate, seeing Zane's scanning tool on the ground. But at the very moment she touches the tool, she fell to her knees to couch for a full minute, which makes it harder to breath for her.

''*Roar*'' The dragons in the stable calls out in worry as the Ice Dragon come back to the girls aid, scooping her up on its head.

''N-No... Put me down... I might take your life away.'' Beg Mirabel concerned, wiggling her way off the dragon to the ground again. She don't wanna take away the same life force that the Imperium people has, they have already suffered enough with that stuff, so she doesn't wanna lose their trust just because of her current condition. ''I am too weak to control myself, so please, stay your distance from me.''

''*Purr*'' Hum the Ice Dragon slightly, nuzzling its head on to Mirabel's head, comforting her in her troubled state. Mirabel read's its mind and smile at the sweet message within. A message about them trusting her and wanna help her for what she has done for them.

''You really wanna share? Thank you.'' Thanked Mirabel for their generosity. Mirabel take a look at her arms, greyish pale with dark veins visible to the naked eye, before breathing out heavily and give the white dragon a nod. It slowly exhale its icy breath out, slowly entering Mirabel's body to indulge her with an icy aura. After a long time in pain, is it really nice to feel herself being able to breath again. And the dark markings, slowly faints into nothing. Now she hopes she has enough stamina to make it out for the others to return back. But... Where is Zane?

*Lloyd and Arin*

Getting pushed out of the vortex of the portal, stumble Lloyd and Arin to their feet of the new place they followed those two people who took the Dragon Core. And they lead them to... an office?

''St-Still in one piece. That is a good thing.'' Says Arin to optimize the mood for doing something as foolish as jumping into an unknown portal that leads to who knows where.

''Where did the suits with the Core... go?'' Wonder Lloyd worried, which quickly turn to confusement as the portal disappear and he sees someone passing by, carrying office supplies. The two take a closer look at their surrounding and see endless halls leading to more office rooms, like an endless maze. And to make it weirder, on the other side is there on giant line that goes on forever. Lloyd frown at the scene and look up, to see the wall stop halfway, so that could be a good place to have an over look over their new scenario. At first he wanna help Arin up with a boost, but the orange ninja brought out his grappling gun, which is a much easier way up, so they can look over the massive maze like office that goes on forever, with people during paperwork.

''Okay, you have traveled waaay more than I have. Where are we?'' Ask Arin in a low voice, not wanting to be spotted by the people below.

''No idea. Better ask someone.'' Whisper Lloyd back and jump down again to look at the massive line to what looks like the 'nothingness'. So at least someone might be able to answer their questions.
